Users banned from posting

I have created this thread so when a poster is banned, the moderator banning them can give a short explanation as to why they have been banned.

I have seen this done on another forum quite well.

My suggestion is that the moderators lock this thread, and only unlock it to give the reason why a poster was banned. That is how it works on the other forum and avoids long arguments from those might disagree with the action.

You could also make it a sticky.

Callum has received a second warning for accessing another user's account and changing the avatar to one which offended other forum members (as well as causing time to be wasted while I investigated what was going on). :bored:

_Max_ is a previously banned member who has been banned many times before. Maybe we should point out that these banned people that keep coming back, not only cause extra work for us identifying them, but also make people suspicious of new members. So we will have to consider taking it further if it banned members don't stop trying to get round bans.

This is intolerable... the amount of spamming and disruption that is being caused at the moment.

We have been asked why Shaun has been banned from posting...

1. He wrote something elsewhere that was forwarded to the admin here that is one of the most vile and offensive things we've seen, and no I'm not repeating it.

2. Him (and others) have generally been causing extreme disruption, targeting other members and wasting admin time clearing it all up.

He is staying banned until this childish nonsense stops.

Warning issued to Lewiis.Xx for having multiple accounts - the user until yesterday went by the name of LewiisTreleaven.

Multiple accounts are not allowed on TiBB.

Could the user in question please let us know what account they wishes to use in future and what other accounts they might have so we can close them.
