Day 78

10:25am - Jonty, Ziggy and Carole are in the living area. As Sam, Amanda, Gerry, Kara-Louise and Jonty are the only ones permitted to cook or clean as punishment for using writing materials, Carole is unable to tidy up. However as she is talking to Jonty about how the housemates need to put away the dishes, she starts to make cups of tea and gets a cereal bowl out onto the counter. Ziggy goes to the Diary Room and tells Big Brother that he's happy he got a few things off his chest with Tracey the previous night (following her saying he didn't think his relationship with Chanelle was genuine). He says although he knows he should respect other people's opinions, he thinks Tracey's "opinion is a load of bulls**t". He says he will be more cautious around her now.

12:05pm - Kara-Louise, Carole, Gerry and Jonty are in the bedroom, where Jonty is telling Carole he's had one of his bears his whole life and that it was won in a raffle. At the smoking area, Brian and Tracey are talking, and Brian says that although he's fine with being up for eviction as he wants to earn his place in the house, he really wants to stay. He then talks about his relationship with Amanda and says "you have to cherish the few moments you get" to be with her in the house, but says he fears being embarrassed on the outside world if she gets together with someone else. Tracey tells him not to let that happen and to just ask her on a date as soon as they get out.

2:56pm - Some of the housemates are at the dining table completing the shopping list for the luxury shopping budget they won after passing this week's task. Carole is telling Amanda, Sam, Kara-Louise and Jonty what the order should include and how to do it. Brian is sitting at the table too and says "Can I have my noodles?", but Carole tells him they will get to that later, so Brian walks out into the garden. He tells Ziggy and Liam that he was "getting shouted at" and that there was no point trying to get involved in the shopping list. "It was the first time I've ever sat down to do it and she said no" he says, referring to Carole.

4:01pm - The housemates are finalising the shopping list and Carole is making sure there are 20 tomatoes on the list. Liam questions the need for 20 and Carole snaps that she needs them. "Hold on a second, I'm not trying to fight you love" says Liam, before Brian also asks whether they need that many. "Yes because I'm a *******ing vegetarian!" Carole shouts. Brian is hurt and says "Don't swear at me Carole, I've never sworn at you once in this house. I don't see why you need to swear at me!" Brian walks out to the garden, upset. Ziggy and Amanda take the blackboard with the list on it to the Diary Room and Amanda asks whether there's anything else they can get like chocolate. "Just see what you can do. Do something alright" Ziggy whispers back. Brian returns to the living area and tells Carole that he is upset that it's the first time he has tried to help with the shopping list and that she took that away from him. Carole says she didn't know he had asked to do it, then gets upset and walks off into the bedroom saying "I can't be bothered any more!" Brian follows her. Brian says "I'm sorry I caused upset" and Carole says he hasn't. In the Diary Room, Amanda is reading out the shopping list. When she orders "chicken cubes" Big Brother asks her what that is. "I don't know" she laughs. "Like cubes of chicken… it's a gravy". Some of the housemates are sitting at the sofas. Liam says he's so hungry and that even a biscuit would fix them straight away. "You want a biscuit?" asks Carole, before mentioning a "stash" she has. Carole then goes to her bed and pulls out some hidden biscuits and returns to the sofas where she hands them out.

5:31pm - In the kitchen Kara-Louise is trying to whisk some eggs. Only her, Gerry, Jonty, Sam and Amanda are allowed to do any cooking or cleaning. Carole takes the whisk and shows her how it's done. Jonty warns Carole that she's not allowed to do that and might get into trouble. He heads to the Diary Room, and tells Big Brother that Carole is a bit stressed at the moment, but is an asset to the house. He then goes on to say "Ziggy and I had a discussion about that (Carole's cleaning and cooking) and he found it a little bit controlling. It's a way of compensating for the fact that there's a world outside that she's not in control of". Jonty says that the luxury shopping budget will calm the house down again. "I think everybody will cheer up a bit and feel a little bit jollier".

6.39pm - Carole has been called to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells her that it is against Big Brother rules to not hand in all food when told to and that at 4:35pm she got a packet of chocolate digestive biscuits she had hidden and gave them to the housemates, which was a rule break. Carole is then told by Big Brother that she broke the rules again by whisking eggs in the kitchen. Carole is sitting with her arms crossed. Big Brother then says "Do you have any reason to think that the rules don't apply to you Carole?" Carole says she doesn't but that she believed she was just "advising" Kara-Louise how to whisk. Big Brother continues: "This week housemates passed their shopping task and were due to receive a luxury shopping budget of £280. However due to the fact that you continue to break the rules regarding food, housemates will now forfeit their right to a luxury shopping budget. Housemates will now receive a basic budget of just £70 pounds". "Ok," says Carole. "Big Brother hopes the biscuits were worth it" says Big Brother. "I think people will understand" says Carole. Carole goes to the bedroom and tells the housemates what has happened. Liam and Brian and some of the other housemates tell her it's ok, but Ziggy doesn't look happy. 7:06pm - Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Ziggy is in the kitchen when Big Brother calls for one housemate to go to the Diary Room, so he goes. Ziggy tells Big Brother "I'll be honest with you, my time here will probably be extremely limited this week. I can see myself leaving big time. I haven't eaten properly for a week now, and I'm not going to eat again, and I'd rather not be in this hole, than not eat….I'm a lad and I eat a lot and you are p**sing around with our food…" Big Brother tells Ziggy there is a blackboard and chalk next to him for the housemates to do their new shopping list. Amanda is outside the door calling out "Ziggy! Zig! Have you got the shopping list?" Ziggy screams back "yeah, one second!" Big Brother asks if Ziggy is ok. "No I'm not *******ing ok! You haven't given us food for a week…I've eaten nothing…I feel weak as anything…I'm not really enjoying my time to be honest with you…." Ziggy returns to the bedroom and says he's "*******ed off" and they talk about the food situation. Brian says "I've literally got hunger pains". Ziggy says "I feel like I want to rip people's heads off". Brian looks sad, and adds "I just want my 40p noodles".

8:59pm - In the bedroom Carole is telling Tracey she thinks the eviction will be a "four horse race" between her, Gerry, Kara-Louise and Jonty. Liam and Brian are in the garden dancing and singing in the rain. Brian sings "hey guess what, we got no food, we got no tabs….I've got hunger, hunger…." Liam then sings "hey guess what, we've got no tabs, we've got no food, and we're getting evicted, we'll probably get kicked out for being naughty too! So let's dance…"


10:33pm - Most of the housemates are on the sofas. Liam gets called to the Diary Room. He says the atmosphere in the house is not great, and that people were looking forward to food and cigarettes but now "it's probably going to be quite a morbid week really". On the sofas, Carole and Brian are talking about the food and Carole is saying why she wanted tomatoes on the list. Brian goes outside and paces up and down the garden. He talks to himself saying "Don't get involved in the shopping list, shopping lists don't involve you, you are not someone who knows about shopping lists, you're not someone who knows about maths, don't get involved in things you know nought about alright? Good boy, have a good two days, good two days, see what happens, good two days, see what happens"

11:23pm - Most of the housemates are on the sofas playing a game they have made up about Big Brother. Gerry is asking questions that relate to the people in the house including "who consumes the most food?" Everybody shouts "Ziggy!" Liam and Brian come in from the caravan and begin to join in. Liam asks, "Who has spanked the monkey the most in the house?" The twins don't understand Liam's innuendo and shout out "Jonty!"

12.09am - Gerry, Kara and Amanda are in the Diary Room, where Gerry holds up an orange and says this is all they have to eat in the entire house. Kara-Louise and Amanda are pretending to cry. "They are wasting…look, she is crying! Give them some biscuits, something!" Kara-Louise adds "there's nothing even under Carole's bed". Big Brother tells them the shopping will be delivered tomorrow. "Tomorrow we'll be dead!" says Gerry. The three then pose like they are dead and lie still in the Diary Room chair.

2:04pm - Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Tracey, Gerry, Carole and Jonty are on the sofas. Carole says at least they have had breakfast, lunch and dinner that day, but Gerry says "well, some people had breakfast". Carole snaps back "Oh ******* off Gerry now." The pair then argue, with Gerry saying Carole shouldn't swear at him, and Carole telling him not to lie as he had breakfast. Gerry says he only had two slices of bread. Carole's voice starts to shake as she tells him he had had breakfast, and Gerry says he doesn't appreciate how she talks to him, and that they are all hungry. Carole shouts "Well go and tell them to *******ing evict me and have your bloody budget back, I don't really care". Carole says Gerry is not "starving" and that he doesn't know what starving is. Gerry says he never accused her of taking the food away, and that she just moans and moans and takes things personally. Carole goes into the bedroom and continues to talk about Gerry to Tracey saying "when we were growing up we were lucky to get bread and jam!" Gerry listens at the door and then walks in on their conversation. Gerry walks into the bathroom and then walks back through the bedroom and into the kitchen. He picks up a milk carton and looks at the little remaining milk. He walks into the garden and opens the fridge door to put the milk back in. The fridge is completely bare. Gerry looks at it and just shrugs his shoulders.

I think he isn't fave to win because BB fixed it for the twins, and because twin supporters are turning on him for no reason only because he is the "competition."

Before BB foxed it Amanda was forth fave at odds of 16/1, and Sam was down at 33/1. Amanda was never fave, it's only due to BB fix and two fan bases coming together.

I don't think that's true. I think people are getting more annoyed with brian, just from what I have read on this forum.

Neither of us can say for sure, but seeing as he is still currently 2nd fave to win, and was fave before BB fix, I think he would have been fave.

Yes but you don't know that's the reason. I personally think it's because more people are deciding brian is annoying and fake but that's just my opinion.

A lot of people who support people are like that. I don't particularly support anyone so even if I thought brian was ok, if he annoyed me, I'd say it and not think I couldn't just because I was a brian fan.
