X Factor star Louis Walsh is unhappy with the category that he has been given to mentor for this year's series.

The four judges have already been told whether they will be looking after boys aged 14 to 24, girls aged 14 to 24, the over 25s or the groups, but are under strict instructions to keep quiet about the news.

However, Simon Cowell has let slip that Louis is furious with the producers' decision.

"Everyone's happy with their category apart from Louis," Cowell is quoted by the Daily Star as saying. "He's made it clear he is not very pleased."

He's probably got the groups because he has had the groups twice so he would be upset if he had them again.

I read this before and thought the older catogory. I think the groups are a catogory people would be fine with...but then again I havent seen who got in it yet.

Apparently the Groups are really good and Simon has said he wouldn't be shocked to see a group win it this year. I'd imagine it's the older category.

It could all just be hype to make him look good rather than him being actually unhappy. I don't buy into alot of the "stories" its just there to add drama and tension.

Groups never win!Although look what happened to Steve and G4 have done pretty well for themselves. It must be the 25.
