How to: Fix Big Brother (Positive opinions)

How can Big Brother be mended after such a bad year (Shilpa and Jade) and the letdown BB8?

I'd like to hear your opinions

Make all the housemates entertaining so that no matter who is evicted it will still be good. This year the only entertaining housemates were Shabnam and Charley and There out so its gone so boring x

Dont put a one gender house in again or give the money away for a pointless reason.

We all have a different perspective as to what entertainment is. So in that sense you cannot make housemates more entertaining. To each of us different individuals with different tastes the housemates either are or are not entertaining.

I agree with the positive vote idea.
I agree money was given away without point this year.

To change BB for the better I think they need to evict the present BB production team for starters.

I would like to see on eviction nights the housemates greeted by their family and friends before the Davina interview. Like it used to be which was always nice to see. Also if a housemate has had a bad booing reception it would give them a moral boost. I hate to see housemates made to be unahappy for no point other than to entertain rent a mob sadists in the audience.

A happy housemate gives a feel good feeling and that is what BB needs to get back. Rent a mob morons have ruined that feeling of being able to enjoy an eveiction as a celebration of a housemate entertaining us be they good or be they bad.....

In my opinion it makes for a more interesting game being able to form alliances and talk about your votes. I hate to say the American big bro series is better (Ive always liked the tasks better in the uk series), but the scheming and manipulating makes for good tv.

I also like the idea of voting to stay idea,. but I believe the hate votes would outweigh the love votes in numbers and that has to do with money in channel 4's pockets.

Also,. How about a better prize,. like 1/2 a million. Im sure if they can pay Paris Hilton and Shilpa Shety $300 thousand to appear for a considerably shorter amount of time they can afford to pay the winner more then 100 thousand. Just my opinion

I think that there should be no prize fund at the start, but housemates must EARN it through tasks etc..and they are able to lose it from breaking rules, loaing tasks etc.
ALSO i think if a housemate walks, the prize fund should be slashed in half like in UNANIMOUS.

They Should Use The Australia Voting System (God Knows How It works Though lol) But Like Vote To Save && Evict This Could Keep In The Big Characters

The Aussie vote system is just a way to make more money. It very rarely effects the outcome of the eviction. Every housemate who was evicted in the last Aussie series would have been evicted had it just been a vote to evict.

biggest mistake was keeping carole in so long, the house doesnt need a mother figure, it needs more anarchy. the twins are boring to as they will never say a bad word against anyone (to their face at least), and kara louise is a dullite....... boring housemates=boring big brother.

Crowd needs to be controlled. Housemates don't deserve to be booed unless they are REALLY bad. 'Get Charley Out' became tiresome after a while.

Vote to save is needed to keep the big characters in and for Big Mouth get Russell back OR Matt/James who were on earlier this year. They worked the crowd well, could read autocue without making themselves look funny, got peoples views across, knew what was actually happening in the house and had an opinion on it and were funny.
