GUTTED Brian Belo has accused twin Amanda Marchant of tearing his heart out and “stomping on it”.

His outburst came after she told him she just wanted to be friends.

Emotional Brian, 20, who had hoped their kisses, cuddles and fumbles under the covers might develop further, was close to blubbing after the blonde babe gave him his marching orders.

Holding his head in his hands he had to fight back tears, telling himself: “Don’t”, as his eyes welled up.

And the snub seemed to be on his mind all day yesterday after Amanda, 19, made her feelings clear in an early morning heart-to-heart.

Lying next to each other in the bedroom, she told him she saw him as a “good friend” and that she didn’t want to wreck their chances of being mates when they leave the house by continuing with their fling.

At first, Essex lad Brian seemed to take it well, saying: “I just enjoy proper cheese on toast, spending time with you.”

But, clearly hurting, he then said: “I’m embarrassed now – I do fancy you.”

And things got even worse for the hunky housemate a few seconds later when he asked Amanda if she fancied him.

She replied: “I think you’re a good looking guy and dead sweet – but it just seems weird.

“I really think you are just a friend and that.”

Rubbing salt into the wound she then started laughing at twin sister Sam as she danced around on the other side of the room.

Distraught Brian said: “I’m pouring out my whole heart here and you’re laughing in my face. You tore it (my heart) out and stomped on it.”

Amanda, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, squealed “No” and said she’d spent hours thinking about it all – but the damage was done.

Seconds later, Brian headed out to the garden to collect his thoughts – and bury his head in his hands.

A Big Brother insider said: “Poor Brian was absolutely gutted.

“And you could see in his face all day yesterday that he just wasn’t the same.

“He was just moping around.

“Clearly he thought things might develop for them – but Amanda had other ideas.”

Before making her big announcement to Brian, Amanda had told Carole Vincent, 53, and Tracey Barnard, 37, how she was feeling.

Raver Tracey said: “Don’t slap yourself, love. You just said that you wanted a friendship for life rather than ruin something.”

And Carole reckoned Amanda will know when she gets out whether she wants to be with Brian.

She said: “You will find out whether you want something to happen.

“You will both meet other people but you might find that you really miss each other.”

As well as being a loser in the love stakes, Brian has also had to put up with a dodgy stomach.

The dippy housemate said he spent much of Friday night on the loo with the “sh*ts”.

He told Liam: “I had proper bad sh*ts last night. I was on the toilet all night long.

“I’m certain it was something I waseating last night. You know how you just know that there’s something not quite right?”

And Brian reckoned it might have been down to the toast the housemates were piling down them.

He said: “The toast is just going on the side and stuff. And people weren’t
washing their hands.”

Firstly What Brian Said He Said In Jest And He Wasent Being Serious..Amanda Seems To Be Damed If She Said Anything And Dammed If She Didnt...

I think its a shame if people decide that Amanda is unkind after this. She was very considerate in the way she let him down, she never led him on. The girl really likes him but is worried about losing someone she thinks of as a good friend. They are young and who knows what will happen when they leave the BB house.

If Brian had a little more experience in these matters he would have realised very quickly that Amanda was not that interested. The night recently when he made his move on her, he should really have noticed that she continuously changed the subject, and moved around uncomfortably when Brian put his arm around her. Do we really think they snogged like lovers under the duvet in the caravan or was that in fact a face saving move to not look totally rejected infront of the viewers. Brian needs to take this in his stride and offer her the true hand of friendship , then wait and see how things are on the outside world.
Unlike many members, I believe these twins are in fact quite mature and they would probably both think that it would be a mistake to start a relationship 1 week before the end of BB anyway. Amanda will also have seen all the problems associated with relationships in the house having had to look no further than Ziggy and Channelle.
