I sent an e-mail two weeks ago to channel 4 viewer enquiries about big brother asking for them to do an celeb-bb style all-stars big brother in january where all the celeb bb housemates are ex-housemates. Here is their response for those who care:
Dear Michael,

Your suggestions have been logged and forwarded to the programme's producers. We appreciate all suggestions and feedback regarding future BIG BROTHER and CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER series. Especially as early as this when all plans are subject to change.

Hope they take this on board, a UK All-Stars version would be amazing
I think that is a very good idea. It feels quite a possibility, because otherwise they could struggle to get the right celebrities next time after the fiasco of the last one.. imo.

Glad to know you all agree. :spin2:
Wouldn't it be cool if when you emailed Big Brother he replied saying Big Brother had noted your request.

It's a good idea Bigbrotherin, but I am sure that you are not alone when it comes to ideas regarding changes to upcoming Celebrity & standard Big Brother series. I look at that reply from Channel 4 viewer enquiries and to me IMO, it is a very standard reply, that I am sure that they have all typed out ready. If you got five Big Brother fans from this forum to all do the same thing as you, I am pretty sure that each of the five would receive exactly the same response as you have Bigbrotherin. Sorry to spoil the excitement perhaps? but it is sadly true

well done but it does look like a cut and paste type of reply. It would have been nicer had they took the time to respond to the actual suggestions that you made

I'm just wondering how many ex celeb ex housemates would actually WANT to go back in, i think the majority would turn it down, and we'd be left with a load of non -entities. The Big names would definatly turn it down, .. its worth looking into though:xyxwave:

Dont get too optimistic. I could send them an email about putting in a brigade of painting walrus mothers next year and they would send me back the EXACT same reply just to shut me up .

Bigbrothrin, do you think their decision to axe CBB5 and do a new type of BB may have been partly down to the letter you sent? As it seems kind a odd that they have announced this so early, and just a week after you got that reply.
Doubt it, they're replacing CBB with new programming...

I mean new programming as in not a new series of Big Brother, but other new series of other programmes...

It looks like some sort of automated reply to me, if I sent something in I'd probably get the exact same reply.

like documentaries and cookery programmes etc.
But could an "all stars experimental version" be appearing on the screens of E4 in january...now theres a possibility
I think that all stars would probably work better in the UK, then it did in the States. People's opinions on the season are mixed, but mine are that it was the third worst American one.
