Start date

According to an official C4 post on the C4 Reach Forum, the start date for BB3 has yet to be confirmed. I wonder what they are waiting for? Or do you think they are waiting for a suitably quiet news day to announce it to ensure maximum coverage?

Presumably all the fixtures for the World Cup are known, so they can work things out so key events don't coincide with big games. Obviously they can't know what will happen as the competition progresses, but they can't wait until then - can they?

I've been exchanging various emails with Helen Hawken (BB series editor, you may remember her from BBLB) concerning dates for BB3, and they are keping it all very quiet at the moment. She gave me the impression that they did know exactly when BB3 was going to happen, but that they were not going to release any dates before the official press launch sometime in April.

I've gotten myself on the official press mailing list for this so as soon as I know anything, so will all of you.

There are still 2 conflicting start dates going around. Either the 24th or the 28th. Both of these are being touted as the offical start date by differing organisations and newspapers etc.

I'm hoping to find out on Tuesday as I will be talking to channel 4.

Personally, I'm keeping my fingers crossed :thumbs:that it starts on the 28th. I hope :xyxwave: to acquire some tickets for the rugby in Cardiff:dance: and so there for the weekend (party:dance:city:dance:).
I love the start of BB:elephant: and would hate to miss it!!:bawling:
There again, if it does begin on the earlier date, it will be good compensation for not going to Cardiff:hello::colour:

I've been feeling that since the silly blighters pulled the plug on the BB2 website and failed to understand they were sitting on a goldmine and failed to capitalise on what they had started!

It is very annoying all the mis-information that has been spread around about when the how is going to start. Channe 4 and Endemol are determined to keep us guessing.

I dont know bout any1 else but I think the waiting around bit is fun; not knowing when BB3 is back is wot keeps every1 guessing! Not knowing anything bout it keeps us in suspense. If we knew every thing, it would be boring:sleep:
There probably will be a big build up within a week of it starting with like adverts and stuff but theres still a while 2 go yet.
