These are taken from DigitalSpy...

Steph got 7%, or 196,026 votes, when the votes were counted for the first time, which equates to about 2.8 million votes having been cast at that time.

Scott got 26.7%, or 786,978 votes, when the votes were counted for the second time, which equates to approximates 2,947,000 votes having been cast at that time.

Cameron 57.5% (1,928,570 votes) and Ray 42.5% (1,428,231 votes); that means that the grand total of votes is about 4.3 million votes.

So over a million votes were cast between 9:30 and whenever the winner was announced!

Poor Steph didn't get many votes did she?

Steph didn't do to well did she, although it was expected. I did enjoy her interview though espeically when they showed the compilation of her and Lisa battling it out over the cleaning! Very funny.

The voting overall does seem far lower than previous series. And I didn't expect Ray to be so close to Cameron in the votes and beating Scott by a large margin, that has surprised me.

Voting is down by 8.6 Million over the previous series. However, I must stress that was expected and planned for. Channel Four Television Corporation, 4 Ventures Limited and Endemol made the price increase on voting whilst aknowledging that it would affect the over all voting figures. Partly (and I'm not joking, shockingly), it was an attempt to reduce the redialling voter armies. Partly to increase revenue, obviously - but they're a company whom can do that if they wish so.

I would love to know what the percentage voting was when the second count was taken i.e. the difference between Scott and Ray. In the polls I had seen it was about 1 - 2%.

Would probably think that many of the Scott people then voted for Ray for the final count.

Quite agree about Steph. I thought her interview was really good with Davina.

Absolutely. I was totally shocked to see Scott in 2nd place. Honestly thought it was going to be between Scott and Cameron.

Really enjoyed the final night show last night. Can't believe it's all over for another year. I'm feeling a bit 'empty' today!

Aaaahhhh, memories :
