View Full Version : Conspiracy Theory: Paul McCartney Is Dead
☺♥BB5♥☻&

The supposed death of Paul McCartney, a member of the Beatles, was the subject of a rumour that began circulating in October 1969. Proponents of the theory, which is commonly referred to as the Paul is dead hoax, claim that McCartney died in a car crash in late 1966 and was replaced by a lookalike before the recording of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

One Paul McCartney is enough for anyone really?

Some of these new theories postulate that McCartney was murdered by the Ku Klux Klan, the Illuminati, or even the other Beatles.
Any theory which brings in KKK or Illuminati usually don't amount to anything.

I learned of this one a few years ago back when I was about 11. I was convinced it was true for a good few months, but then I read another site (which I don't have a link to at the mo) that went through each piece of evidence and tore it apart, aparantly he really did have a crash and suffered cracked teeth and head injuries and photos from interviews proove this, but he never died.
The thing about the sudden change in his bass playing and songs is aparantly down to the fact that he learnt different styles of play about different rock genres in a few months he took out between concerts that year.
The beatles were crap, I don't care what anyone says. If he is dead, who cares? Means one less rubbish musician in the world.
My dad sometimes says jokingly whenever he sees tributes to John Lennon and George Harrison "2 down 2 to go" lol.

John Lennon's dead (murdered 1980)
George Harrison's dead (cancer 2001)
Ringo Starr's alive.
You must be the only person ON EARTH who doesn't know any Beatles songs! They were quite famous you know. :spin2:

Ringo's about, he was on Richard and Judy a few months back. To be fair he and Paul aren't going to be seen that much; magazines like Heat aren't really going to be interested in them cause their not exactly young and sexy. McCartney has been in the news recently though because of his divorce from Heather Mills and he's also released a new album.
Lennon was murdered in New York by an obsessive fan who had been stalking him. He was shot.

If you like poppy stuff like Mika and Scissor Sisters then there's a good chance you could enjoy some Beatles tunes. I wouldn't go round saying something's crap if you haven't even given it a chance.

My Dad hates The Beatles, before his time  Me Nan likes 'em though!
Yeah, Paul also used to be married to Linda McCartney (of vegetarian food fame) but she died of cancer about 10 years ago.

 I wouldn't worry about it, most 16 year olds I know are the same! Tbh there's plenty of people in my uni who are ignorant to anything that's not modern so you're certainly not alone.
Well the Linda McCartney brand is still around. I don't think she had much imput in to the making of the food anyway, she and Paul were just very high profile vegetarians and using her name was a good way to create awareness of vegetarianism.

Portsmouth.
Back when I was at primary school (well infant school) the teachers had to know Beatles songs because Yellow Submarine and Octupus's Garden were part of the music curriculum. Best start learning!

Erm 20. My sister's only 17 and she had to sing Here Comes The Sun for a school production when she was a kid so maybe it was just that particular school.
PMSL though, Yellow Submarine is a wee bit too twee for a band like the Stones. I always hated it though, it's just a bit of a joke song really.
This conversation is making a mockery of the serious debates section I must say! :spin2:

It's not a joke song, it was written while they were on LSD that's all.

I'm more of a rolling stones, t-rex, ramones, the animals sort of guy than the beatles or today's modern crap like the ones Benji mentioned he liked (mika scissor sisters, that crap).
Oh and not to be mean Benji, but I'd pursue another career, the primary kids would probably ending up teaching you lol.
Benji are you sure your from Baltamore? As you don't sound american and going to bed at 0:44 in the morning GMT whilst living in baltamore means you'd be going to sleep in the day lol.

No, im not from america!!!! i watched the film "Hairspray" and it was mentioned in that! :)
The Rolling Stones were much better than The Beatles anyway. The Stones are one of the greatest bands of all time, along with Led Zeppelin.
Although I like George Harrison's stuff.

The Stones and the Beatles appealed to totally different sections of the population and that's what was good about the 60s. There were so many differering bands to choose from and from what my parents tell me the Stones were for the more rebellious teens (and older) and the Beatles, when not high on drugs, appealed to the majority.
I treasure my dad's Beatle collection including the Sgt. Pepper complete kit with cut outs and gimmickry.
