I am just starting this thread because of all the negativity around this forum(sorry this is about the DS forum) . I joined the forum simply because I was outraged of the allegations against him regarding Amanda.
He wasnt my favorite at first but the more and more I watch the show I realised, he is the clear winner. Brian goes out of his way to entertain the public. He is a huge BB fan, so he knows how much we hate a boring series. SO he makes us laugh, in the diary room, in the house during his banter with the guys, Tracey and the twins. I like him because to me he is very caring towards everyone in the house. He doesnt campaign against anyone, and let the housemates and the public decide for themselves what to think of other housemates. He doesnt manipulate anyone. Those last two points I think Ziggy and Liam are very gulity of the opposite. He was very welcoming to the new housemates, including fake housemate Pauline. I think him and Amanda and Sam, share all those qualities in the house. What differentiate them to me is that brian doesnt run away from unpleasant situations. He stands up for his friends and himself if necessary. And he didnt benefit from getting the joint housemate twist. One last thing, I think its pretty easy to coast and be upbeat all the time when you have your best friend and sister with you that can keep you sain, and happy. In that regard all the housemates are in a disadvantage compared to Sam and Amanda. So for me he is definitely the winner of BB, even if he doesnt, he made me enjoy this season.
