View Full Version : Bosses Play Dirty to Boost Ratings [merged]
http://www.dailystarsunday.co.uk/bigbrother/view/13755/Bosses-play-dirty-to-boost-ratings/
The remaining seven wannabes are still celebrating after making it through to the last week of the show.
But cruel BB producers are now going to play dirty to boost flagging ratings before Friday’s big finale.
Instead of being able to sit back and enjoy their final few days in the house, the contestants will be turned against each other as the pressure of winning the show mounts.
Big Brother bosses are also finally planning to use the large target on the living room floor, which could have disastrous consequences for one unlucky housemate.
Our Channel 4 insider said: “Big Brother doesn’t play by the rules. It makes up the rules.
“The housemates may be celebrating now, congratulating each other on their mini victory of making the final week.
“But BB will soon wipe the smile off their faces.”
On Monday the remaining housemates, including favourites Liam McGough, 23, Brian Belo, 20, and twins Sam and
Amanda Marchant, 19, will be forced to make fake nominations.
The following day they will be told how many nominations they have received during the whole series. They will also be shown who nominated them and for what reason.
On Wednesday, the clueless housemates will be expecting a midweek eviction – but they will be left waiting on the sofa for hours before being told their nominations were meaningless.
The show insider also shed some light on the large red and white target, which isin the middle of the living room carpet.
On the opening night of the series, host Davina McCall, 39, hinted that housemates should avoid standing on the spot.
The insider added: “It is top secret what the target means – but none of the remaining housemates want to linger on there for too long or it could cost them their place on the final night.”
First to feel the wrath of Big Brother were Carole Vincent, 53, Ziggy Lichman, 26, and Liam, who were all summoned
to the Diary Room yesterday morning and warned they would be punished for discussing the nominations.
While they were left to wonder about the punishment, BB wound up the housemates even more by organising a karaoke challenge, which promised big prizes but delivered just a small amount of booze.

If the target could cost someone their place on the final night (contrary to the public vote) This would be another BB screw up big time....I just hope it is a play on words...
How would Brian or Twins fans feel if they were denied voting them winners by a stupid target twist.........
Until we know more I think we should not jump for joy that it will be a good thing.........BB this year have thrived on ruining nearl every twist they have thought of.......
i have a feelinf this is going to be good very good!!!muhahaha.....ha!!!:cheer::banana:

this is stupid,do we really want the housemates moaning and complaining and suffering in the last week?
No!
We want more booze, better parties, laughs, fun and more action!
Imagine if Big Brother kidnapped a housemate! That would be awsome. And Big Brother would send a series of notes saying things like "Bring us the Ziggy's suitcase and we will return whoever." If teh housemates don't meet up to Big Brother's demands the housemate would not be returned. Suppose they wouldn't do that with all the Maddie stuff.

From the Daily Star (http://www.dailystar.co.uk/bigbrother/view/13755/Bosses-play-dirty-to-boost-ratings/)
EVIL Big Brother bosses are planning a week of hell for the so-called “lucky” finalists.
The remaining seven wannabes are still celebrating after making it through to the last week of the show.
But cruel BB producers are now going to play dirty to boost flagging ratings before Friday’s big finale.

But both twins would have to stand on it at the same time as they count as one, so they're least likely to go should the target be used in that way.

Good.
Whatever happens, I hope this week puts people to the test, have them make decisions for themselves and show a ruthless side to win the competition they entered. The twins have had it far too easy this series, been protected by the producers and had it handed to them on a plate, so far.
Let's see what they're really like.
Big Brother loves the twins that's why they show them in such a good light

Channel 4 want Brian to win, he is the chosen one, for the possible ideological reasons see this thread (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=68591)
Why do you think they put them together?
It was so they could be evicted more easily, and it could have worked.
It looks like they have got their way now :bored:

I am not so sure. I think that Big Brother wants to increase the pressure some what, but will - the twins - fall foul to this type of pressure?? I doubt it. We had a fake eviction already - Charley. Also a fake-week and many more twists and turns. This idea of this - spot on the carpet - and Davina warning about it, is just another twist and the twins may not me a victim to this twist either. Also, every housemate is aware that they have to nominate in the Diary Room and will also be aware that what they say could be viewed by other housemates, as we have already seen previously. It is what they expect, but the timing of when this does occur, will naturally be a shock to the housemates, but each one will deal with it differently. I hope for the TWINS2WIN, as I keep saying, as I am supporting them. The last housemate I want to see win, is Brian. He comes over sooooooo thick and stupid and he is soooooooo annoying. I would choose Liam as the better vote, but still behind the Twinnies

This has got me all feeling flat now.
Is there any point now they have fixed things :bored::sad::bawling:
I have sent a PM to Reverse Ferret on digital spy and referenced him to this thread. Reverse Ferret supposedly works for Channel 4 on big Brother and on Digital spy has been revealing the nomination results before they are announced on BBLB.

I think despite all the threats it's not likely that anyone will be missing from final night. The numbers for the six finalists have already been given out and there have been millions of calls already, many of them multiple calls. People have spent a lot of money supporting their chosen contestant. If one of them was expelled prematurely it would spark off the most stupendous row. It could even leave C4 open to charges of fraud and deception.

exactly,its not gonna happen

Making the twins one has increased the twins chances of winning as they will not have a split vote.
It was also quite brave of C4 as they wil recieve less phone revenue from people voting twice.
Surely they are a dream for c4 as potential presenters.

According to the article the fake nominations should have been Monday (Today). Been out most of the day. Have they happened yet????
Finally that target was doing my head in.

Let's not forget, Channel 4 want to crown Brian the winner, so the twins need to be dealt with, so maybe this is their plan b to do that since their first one of putting them together and putting them up for nomination hoping the Liam and Brian fans would club together to tactically vote them out.
the twins hate making decisions. get them out. liam also...
