The hypocrosy and blatent lies of Charley Uchea

"Big Brother contestant Charley Uchea said that it was right that fellow contestant Emily Parr was ejected from the show for using a racially offensive word.

The incident happened in June at the beginning of the current series of the Channel 4 reality show.

Speaking today at a MGEITF panel session - called 'Mind Your Language' - which discussed supposed racist vocabulary in TV, she said: "I think she shouldn't have used it. Whether she was trying to 'get down with it', I don't know. You shouldn't say it, whatever colour you are. So yeah, she should have been removed from the house."

When asked why she thought the term was offensive, Uchea said: "I think it brings it back from 'olden days'. So many people were hurt by it, in 'slave days'. I think the word's terrible. I didn't go on a bloody TV show to be called the 'n' word."

Am i right in remembering that Charley was the first person in the house to use the word N#gger, when she stated "I'm a n#gger"?
Now her selective memory and holier than thou attititude have kicked in to make it seem that she is little miss sunshine and innocence. She is playing the public for fools.

I don't know how Charley could ever give advise on anything? She was really horrible in there and when she left, I felt a sigh of relief. Emily Parr was much better than Charley ever was. I know she said that racist word, but from what I read, she never meant it in a nasty way.

Did anyone read chareys interview in ok,the same week chanelle was featured in the magazine.She said that Chanelle was probably a size 24-what a joke that woman is.She just says what shes wants and doesnt seem to be aware of how much of an idiot she sounds.

I think you are getting upset over Charley? I know that she does have a small fan-base ahd that is due to her nasty behavior, which is sooooooo bad and horrible. I just haded watching it and sooooooo enjoyed the other housemates who were much better viewing. Emily Parr wasn't in there long enough, for us to learn a bit more about her. I hate all this nastiness over Emily. In comparison, Charley was a - million times worse - I think most would agree?

She might be nasty and all that and that has been discussed on this forum millions of times, but to say that she somehow lied on this article, and use it as a thread title, its pure fabrication, just so that people can pile up insults at her for no reason. Thats why I think the OP is a Liar!

I have looked through many of the old Charley topics and indeed it has been discussed at length - however, I imagine that all the housemates of Big Brother 8 will continue to be discussed at length for the forseeable future IMO. I personally think and I am sure that others would agree, that Charley is a liar and also she is a horrible person in general. I can't think of anything nice to say about her? Perhaps to some, she was quite entertaining, if you like to hear all that stuff pouring from her foul mouth? In this article, she has stated that she approved of Emily being thrown out. Well, whether she approved or not, it was going to happen, as this year they had to be very strict on things - just to keep the show running. Also, Charley did say the n-word herself, but I agree that there was a difference between Emily saying it and Charley saying it, as Emily is white and Charley isn't. If Charley had said a word that is offensive to a white housemate and it was against the colour-of-skin or from your country-of-origin, then it should be dealt with in the same way. But whether it would have, is a different matter. I think that a member who dislikes a particular housemate, should be given a bit of leeway? If - in their opinion - Charley lied? Then let them explain why, rather than letting passions lead to insults

Again, you're just proving my point. My point being it shouldnt have started as an insult. This was just an interview where she gave her opinion on things. And my point being, people used the misleading title as an excuse to launch their insults at charley as usual. Which is exactly what you're doing, proving your point, while at the same time making sure you launch some insults towards charley, your long answer and at sometimes snesible points, dont change the fact that you are doing exactly what I expected!

If she was a white housemate doing exactly the same thing in exactly the same way, we'd all be commenting exactly the same. Forget about the Emily comment and concentrate on the overall behavior of probably one of the most horrible housemates ever

Charley was genuinely shocked by the comment and must have taken offence to it. I actually think it shows the hypocrisy of Charley haters because you say this is a "complete u-turn" to how she was in the house when in fact when she was in there you lot were saying how she was milking it and playing the victim. Please note the two lines....

You can even note by Charley's original lie "No way" then pause of realisation that big bro and the public see's all that she had better own up, hence the "Yeah, me. I'm a ******."

If a member wishes to start a topic but the topic title is rather negative to the [housemate in question - Charley], then that is how they feel personally about that housemate. I know it looks bad, but that is understandable due to Charley's overall behavior which you must agree is certainly questionable and horrible. I agree that Charley gave her opinions and we all have them. But what do you expect Charley to say nowsthebturn? Obviously she is going to say that. She has to. She will do. I will expect her to, those who watch the Big Brother show at length will do. I personally feel that Charley is going to do the predictable thing and this is what we see in that interview. Charley calling Emily. What's new? I admit that I am adding my opinions towards Charley and I also admit that they are not nice. I also am glad that you have spotted the - sensible points - I hope the points which you did spot, are the ones where Charley's overall behavior was horrible and from that observation alone, you should understand why the OP started this topic and in this particular way

again youre completely proving my point over and over again, this is completely off the subject. You might as well just start a thread saying charley is a liar, and list the multipe times he has done it in the house. You dont need to make stuff up[ to do that. Thanks easypeasy. I personally don't like Charley and I believe that she is almost capable of anything. [Lying especially]. I can see how she is happy to go against Emily and mix that wooden spoon some more. Sadly those who see her display on Big Brother 8 and all those articles about her which we see - will understand how Charley really is. Also, I don't do - unfounded personal remarks - I leave that to other posters and occasionally will embolden those certain comments - it does get silly sometimes, but I love to debate -
