Nikki Grahame has revealed that she is unable to have children as a result of her long battle with anorexia.

The Big Brother 7 star spent much of her childhood in hospital with the eating disorder and said doctors gave her the bad news when she was 12.

She told OK! magazine: "I might adopt because I can't have children, because of all the internal damage I've done to myself with the anorexia. I found out about it a while ago and it is a shame. It's inevitable though, with anorexia.

"I'm fine on the outside but there's still internal damage. I'm on tablets and the doctors want me to take oestrogen, but it makes me put on weight and have really bad mood swings."

She added: "The thing is I remember when I was 12 the doctor telling me... I wouldn't be able to have children. But back then I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, whatever'. Looking back, I really wish I'd listened to her."

Oh my god. Thats terrible!

I heard there was troubles with Nicole Richie's baby because of the same sort of thing. But Nikki's case of anorexia is MUCH worse than Nicole's

I sorry to hear that. It isn't the sort of thing you would wish on anyone.

Children are wonderful things and being told that you are not be able to have them must be a hard blow for any woman to take. I hope they gave her the help and support after she was told this dreadful news.

I hope they let her adopt if she really wants to have children.

awww bless her,thats horrible,i hope she has success in her new presenting career and finds a decent man or hersef,shes such a pretty,sweet girl,despite her tanrums i think shes got a good heart and she can be very caring as we saw last year.If any hm deserves fame and fortune on the back off bb then its her,the most entertaining housemate ever,loved her and wish her all thebest for the future,this news it so sad.:shocked:
