There's been some very new development regarding Tiina. She has decided to walk out, because she doesn't believe she could take care of the new life growing inside if she stayed.

BB is making preparations for her departure, and she will leave the house tomorrow somewhere between the morning and noon.

I think they had probably planned on inserting new housemates at some point anyway. If this is so, then one new will be sent in a bit sooner than expected.:tongue:

In my opinion this is the best season we've had so far. Of course there's still plenty of time of that to change, but the first 10 days have had as much drama as the first two seasons put together. Then again, this was the first time they had auditions when searching for housemates.:thumbs:

One of my friends auditioned, got to the second round and that was the end for him.

Satu and Timo are indeed having a romance, but one of Timo's outside friends doesn't believe it will last for long. Timo apparently is quite a ladies man, and this friend of his thinks he's going to switch to Kadi soon. That would definitely create some drama.

The housemates were put together in two chains with handcuffs as a punishment for Tiina and Kadi. They had been talking of something they shouldn't have. While they were in these chains, there had been a vote going on. For the first time viewers can vote for an activity for the housemates from 3 given options.

The choices were prohibiting the housemates from practicing their weekly task for 15 hours, gathering all of their hygiene-products to named sacks and taking them to the storage room, and a barbeque. The public voted for the hygiene products. So in some sense the punishment was a triple one...they couldn't obviously practice while handcuffed to each others, and they were handcuffed for 11 hours.

The weekly task was a success though. But because they failed the extra task, 20% of their weekly budget was reduced.

Also, the romance between Satu and Timo is likely to end next week. Most viewers seem to think, that she's up for eviction after tuesday's namings...and if she is, she will surely be evicted. Hardly anyone seem to like her.

Hard to say really. Kadi is quite popular, so is Maxine. Can't really say about Jarkko. He's kind of tasteless. Seems that no-one has an opinion of him.

On another note, at the moment Henri is ahead of Einari on save-votes. I'd say the percentage is around 55-45. They don't give the percentages, only the graphics.

Yesterday Tiina was on BB-Extra with his fiancee, and she seemed very happy. And so seemed her fiancee. :)

Heli might bring some tension to the house. Yesterday Big Brother asked Timo in the diary room, how serious he is with Satu. And also asked, if he would think of replacing her with another woman. Timo said, that if a beautiful girl would enter the house it just might make things different... Let's see, what happens. Hopefully a lot. :wink:

Now...Heli is not bad looking, and in addition to that she was in a showdancegroup a couple of years ago. :wink:

At the moment it seems, that the winner will be one of these 5 housemates: Jarkko, Timo, Sauli, Maxine or Kadi. Of course there's plenty of time for that to change, and no-one knows, what Big Brother still has in store for the housemates and us.:bigsmile:

The weekly task this week is Save your environment. There's a tent, sleeping bags and a toilet in the garden. Big Brother gave the housemates one hour to pack everything they need. They can't pack any food. They will find all the food and water they need during this task in the garden.

Although in BB Finland there are no themes, this year it was announced that ecology will be the theme. The first two series they had an electric sauna. This year the sauna is warmed with wood.

Oh, almost forgot...Satu is already showing signs of jealousy. From the moment Heli entered the house, Satu has looked like she's going to snap any moment. She looks very insecure of herself.

Daily show just ended, and in the diary room Satu was really happy about the new housemate...yet, she still seems to be very jealous whenever Timo and Heli are talking or even sitting next to each other. Yesterday, when Heli was sitting next to Timo, Satu went in between the two.

Piia got a secret mission from Big Brother today. She has to make another housemate believe, that she's giving up on the weekly task and talk this other housemate to quit the task with her. She picked Maxine, and the secret mission starts when they are preparing to go to sleep.

Piia can't give any signs of this mission to the other housemates. If anyone sees she's bluffing, the weekly task will fail. If she can bluff everyone until the results of the weekly task is announced, Big Brother will add 50% to their weekly budget.

Also, there was another public vote for an activity. The options were A. Gardengames, B. Pouring rain and C. Dress yourself with another housemate's clothes. Option B won, therefore the housemates got pouring rain. Artificial, of course...the sky is blue above them.

The weekly task succeeded and Piia also succeded in her secret mission. The housemate's had bet with 99% of their weekly budget (which they have done now on every of their 3 weekly tasks), together with 84 euros that were left over from thursday (this was transfered to this new budget, because they had no chance of using it because of the nature of their weekly task) and with the 50% addition from Piia's successful mission they now have 561 euros to spend. Or did...they already bought stuff with 500.

The housemates had a party last night. During that party Jarkko was trying to get closer to Kadi, and Timo seemed to enjoy being with Heli...also Timo told some of the housemates, that he's not really that serious with Satu. Earlier he also told Satu, that outside he never would've been even slightly interested in her. Furthermore he ended up sleeping next to Heli on a double-bed after last night's party. They did share that double-bed with Maxine and Sauli, though...:tongue:

They obviously speak Finnish in this clip, the chick is the designer. Basicly, it's the same house as before...just differently decorated. Also, this year the old sauna has made room for another purpose. I don't have any pictures or video to offer of it yet.

Anyhow, the space is now used as a reward room. It is used for the first time right now. They have a red phone in the house, which rang for the first time less than 2 hours ago...Piia answered and she had to pick another housemate. She picked Jarkko. They now have a movienight in the reward room with beer and popcorn.

Most likely. SubTV has been a small player in our TV-world so far, being just a cablechannel. Now, that Finland is moving to digital TV, also SubTV will benefit and so will BB. They will grow, they will get more viewers. :dance:

On another note...a spokesperson of the production team was interviewed. He said, that in BB Finland they haven't and won't intentionally seek housemates, who are in anyway mentally unstable. This was asked from him, because Einari told at some point when already in the house that he had in the past tried to kill himself.

On a lighter note, BB would be in TOP-20 most viewed programmes on any major channel in this country. I just checked. :dance2:

Also, Timo and Satu are now history. They agreed, that the romance is over. Doesn't really matter, because Satu will be evicted on Sunday. She's so much behind on votes. They showed yesterday, how public had voted so far. That graphic included both save- and eviction-votes. And...Satu had about 50 times as much eviction votes, as Henri had save votes.

This week the weekly task is at the same time kinda weird and funny...part of the housemates have to act children. The roles were given by BB.

Family 1
Dad - Timo
Mom - Heli
Child - Kadi

Kadi is 7 years and a good little princess.


Family 2:
Dad - Jarkko
Mom - Piia
Children - Henri and Sauli

Henri is 5 years old, quiet child who likes to be by himself and he's artistic by nature. Sauli is 8, naughty and mean.


Family 3:
Mom - Maxine
Child - Aki

Aki is 2, still in diapers. He can already talk, but not walk.


They have to live up to those roles for the whole time. Of course those, who have been given the roles of a child can't smoke during this task. Also, swearing is considered to be inappropriate behaviour in families with children.

For the smallest children their parents will have to help them with pretty much everything...including going to the toilet.

The housemates gambled with 75% for the succesful completion of this task.

I don't know any other way than live feeds, they cost around 35 euros for the whole season. No discount fees yet.

At the moment I don't have any way of delivering whole episodes of the daily shows either. :shrug:

You will find some episodes of the daily show using torrent.

While I'm at it...Aki also now has a very good chance of leaving the house as the last housemate. As for the winner, this might be the most unpredictable series yet.

So far, in this week's task Jarkko and Sauli have been by far better than anyone else. Sauli is just simply hilarious, and Jarkko is playing his role better than any other housemate designated as a parent. :cheer2:

Although, Kadi is kinda cute as a princess. :love:

Nice....Big Brother changed the roles around. For the final stretch of this weekly task the families look like this:

Family 1
Dad - Aki
Kid - Maxine

Maxine is a wiseass second grader. The 8-year old is enthusiastic about collecting plants.

Family 2
Dad - Sauli
Mom - Kadi
Kids - Jarkko and Timo

Jarkko and Timo are restless twins, who don't listen to their parents.

Family 3
Dad - Henri
Kids - Heli and Piia

Heli is 2-year old and in diapers. Piia is 5, a little princess and jealous of her younger sister.


Those roles were changed though. Henri was being too harsh on Heli, so for the rest of the time Aki kinda adopted Heli.

Henri will most likely be evicted this week. He already received 2 extra naming points from BB as a punishment for constantly trying to contact the outside world.

Oh, and they did play strip poker yesterday. The weekly task was paused for that time.

Also, the weekly task failed. On Wednesday Big Brother gave Jarkko a secret task. In addition of being a 6-year old, he also had to make-up himself secretly from his parents or anyone else at that matter. :tongue:

Jarkko pulled that secret off, but so far there's no information what the reward will be. I think it's going to be a personal reward for Jarkko...not sure, but that's my guess.

The line of interesting punishments continues. Henri, Heli and Jarkko got one of the weirdest so far. I can't really explain it, I hope this image will:

Kadi is sweet. She's targeted by some other housemates just because she broke the rules a couple of times and BB gave the penalty to all of the housemates. Also some of the housemates don't seem to stand that Kadi is so energetic. Kadi has periods, which makes her sleep a lot...and for some of the housemates that also is a no-no. :conf:

Really, that's about it. According to the housemates...my guess is, they're playing it hard. Some of the housemates see Kadi as a threat, so they're just making things up.

I think the only ones who haven't joined the "We hate Kadi" club, are Jarkko, Sauli, Heli and Maxine.

I know it's difficult to find recent daily shows of BB Finland to download. I'm not sure, if I can help with this...:shrug:

Also, while I love to watch BB I've only watched some random shows of Australia and the US. Also series 3 and 4 of BB UK were aired in Finnish television. A few months after the winners had already walked out. After series 4 they announced, that there will be a local edition.

All in all I think this new bunch might become very entertaining once they all settle in. :thumbs:

The housemates completed the weekly task succesfully. Also, Big Brother gave them another theme-party. The theme is Hurriganes, a Finnish rock-band from the 70's. Of course, they had to wear themselves accordingly. In 70's clothes, which BB provided for them.

The night included an exclusive premiere of the movie made about Hurriganes, a live-show of the band that play Hurriganes in that movie...and of course an after-party. The golden bedroom have been made out to be the backstage.

She's also released a single with another girl, who was a nobody before dating another celebrity.

The weekly task this week is Sleep depravation. The housemates have a maximum of 15 hours to use for sleeping during the whole time this task is on. There's a timer on the TV-screen, and every time that even just one housemate go to sleep countdown begins. The countdown stops, when all of the housemates are awake again.

They can't touch the beds or lie down on the floor either...or the countdown starts. Touching any of the beds will result in them loosing 10 seconds each time someone touch a bed.

During the task smoking is forbidden. This is part of the Cancer Association's campaign. A pink coffin has been placed in the house, so that any smoking housemate can try what it feels like to lie in a coffin. Also, if anyone sleeps in the coffin it will not affect the countdown...but...hiding is forbidden by the general house rules.

To make things more interesting BB gave the housemates plenty of alcohol and fast-food.

Last night Martina created a situation in the house. The housemates were in the sauna, and in the sauna Martina said that they're not in a summer-camp. In her mind everyone is in the house to win the game, not to make friends. All of the other housemates denied, that they would have any interest in the money...

Martina has also been very blunt all around. It doesn't seem to please most of the other housemates. I love it! Finally someone in BB Finland house, who sais things directly and creates some real tension in the house. :dance2:

There have been rumours though, that Martina has been put in to cause friction between all the other housemates. Martina herself, as well as the production sais she's just as any other housemate. Even if she is a celebrity. Nothing seems to make much sense in this situation...but at least this senseless situation has brought new life in the house. :hugesmile:

Big Brother is testing the housemates. The housemates got shitloads of alcohol...the catch is, that the housemates have to drink responsibly. They haven't...they had plenty to drink, and they've drank plenty.

Martina has opened up...she's now analyzing every housemate from her own point of view. Also, she kinda revealed that she's in the house only to stir things up.

Kadi was really drunk. Jarkko was trying to get her to go to sleep...while she listened to Jarkko, she refused to go. It came to a point, where BB interfered. At around 4 am BB announced "This is Big Brother. Kadi, go to sleep."

And the music is a bit off this year, that's kinda the general opinion here. Last year's music was much better. The general opinion is, that so far the second season has been the best all around.

Possibly the TOP 4 will be Jarkko, Kadi, Sauli and Farbod. Sauli seems to be everyone's favourite at the moment.

And the namings started right after Jussi left the house. So maybe we'll know who will be up for eviction by Tuesday, possibly even tomorrow.

Martina left the house in somewhat weird situation. She apparently left because of personal reasons. Rumours has it, that she's pregnant.

The HMs weren't told about this, Martina left the house while all the other HMs were locked outside while BB was making preparations to the weekly task. The task is called Earthlings.

When the HMs were let back in, weird things started to happen. All kinds of weird sounds coming out of the speakers, and an announcement with a weird voice telling the HMs that their leader had been abducted.

The usual BB-sound has been modified to be a sound of a humanoid. If the HMs can keep the humanoids happy, they will be given a contact to their leader Big Brother and a chance to tell the humanoids why they want their leader to be returned.

There's also a public vote going on, who of the HMs should be abducted by the humanoids. The choices are Piia and Farbod. Martina was the 3rd choice, but as she left she obviously has been removed from that vote.

Yeah. Too bad about Martina...she was the most bitchy HM in BB Finland so far.

Last year the BB Finland house was also at one point acting strangely. The announcements were...uhmmm...interesting. Some announcements got slurry and then really fast. The door, that the HMs use to enter and exit the house also got crazy...at some point I think it was Kaarlo who was told to "drop Olli on the couch and come to the diary room." Also BB asked Kaarlo several times "Kaarlo, are you really sure?" :spin:

Of course the official explanation was, that the house malfunctioned because of some repairs that were supposedly going on.

Today the same door has also acted crazy, of course this time it's just a part of the weekly task.

I think it will be a close vote between the two. It will be very difficult to predict the outcome. I have the impression, that Kadi is slightly more popular than Timo. Also, if I had to choose I'd keep Kadi safe. If Kadi goes, there won't be any interesting or even slightly entertaining females left in the house.

Males have been much more entertaining as a whole this year. So even if Timo was evicted, there would still be entertainment left. At one point Timo was more obnoxious than entertaining. Lately he's been getting better, but I still would much prefer him being evicted.

The lines won't open before tomorrow evenging though. Some people are speculating, that maybe there won't be an eviction this week. Or if there is, it will be a fake eviction. I personally don't believe this to be true, but with BB you never know.

Also today it was revealed, why Martina left the house. She received news in the house, that her grandfather had died. :sad:

If anyone still remembers, last year in BB Finland one housemate was removed from the house following accusations of a sexual assault on another HM. That was Mika vs. Sorella. The court has now finally come to a decision, Mika was charged with sexual assault. The court also ruled, that the assault was not so bad and Mika got away with a fine of 700 euros.

The HMs was told, they would find out the nominees for the eviction vote on Sunday during the live show. For the second time this year all HMs have to pack their bags, as they have no clue of who are up for eviction.

A short recap of what has happened since I last logged in:

The humanoids made some further tests with the HMs. On Wednesday the aliens wanted to know, if some food items declared edable by the human race really can be eaten. All of the HMs had to eat off of every plate they were given. Every item was edable, but not every HM liked it. Niko threw up at the table into a plastic bag and Kadi a bit later in the toilet.

Yesterday Jarkko and Niko prepared and served a 3 course meal for the other HMs. It was completely their own idea, BB didn't have anything to do with it.

Also yesterday, the HMs had a theme party. Of course the theme was alien.

Today Piia, Niko and Timo received a reward for winning a competition during the weekly task. Those 3 HMs had a movienight with beer, SubWay-sandwiches (SubWay is one of the sponsors this year) and Die Hard 4.

Oh yeah...and the weekly task was completed successfully. Again, the HMs gambled with 99% of their weekly budget.

I really like this bunch of HMs. Only once in 8 weeks they've gambled with less than 99% of their weekly budget on the tasks. I like that attitude. When they bet more, they try more.

On another note, the weekly task is cross-country skiing. The HMs had to shovel the snow on the track themselves. They have to ski 150 kms collectively in order to pass the task...they still have a theoretic chance of succeeding.

The red phone rang again yesterday. Suvi picked up. First BB just chatted with her, asking how she was and how was the meal the HMs had just eaten. Then the voice asked, if Suvi would have a dessert. She said she would like to have chocolate pudding with whipped cream...so she got a big bowl of pudding and whipped cream. None of the other HMs are allowed to touch the pudding nore the cream.

Tiina will be evicted. This is one of those sure evictions, as most viewers have been waiting for the chance to get rid of her.

Last night the HMs got an after-ski party. A short description of the most interesting bits of that party:

-Jarkko told Suvi about his feelings about her, that he really likes her. Suvi told she's not interested, Jarkko continued telling that he has feelings too...then he left leaving Suvi puzzled of what he ment with that last sentence.

-Kadi got really drunk, again, and fell on the fire they had on the yard while running around the yard. BB called Kadi to the DR and Suvi helped her get there. The party was over for Kadi.

-Short after Kadi had been carried to her bed, BB called all HMs inside. They were worried, that the party was over because of Kadi's behaviour. Piia started to really bash Kadi, which got Jarkko angry. Jarkko had been assigned to take care of Kadi. Piia and Jarkko had a fight, Jarkko said some nasty things to Piia. Piia went to her bed to sulk, she refused to talk to Jarkko any further.

-BB let the HMs back out to continue partying. Only ones not participating anymore were Kadi and Piia. After some more drinking Tiina started to loose her balance, and fell down. BB told her to go to sleep. She did, but when she was on her way from the bedroom to the toilet she fell down on one of the plants.

It will be interesting to see, how they will name each others next week...:whistle:

Yeah...I had to come back to this, because the dessert was connected to the weekly task. So, if Suvi would still had any pudding left when the weekly task was finished, BB would've taken what's left of the pudding back.

This was the first time, they actually had a countdown to the end of the task. As BB was counting seconds, Farbod was making rounds on the snow and Suvi was drinking out of the bowl. They passed the task and Suvi emptied the bowl.:banana:

I don't know, how common it is to introduce the people behind the production to the public...but that's what BB Finland have done this year. They have a series of "Behind the scenes" going inside of Extra show. They are revealing every aspect of the production and also the host of BB Extra has been interviewing the people behind the production.

Anyone from the actual production team to those people, who are responsible for the web-content. Including feeds.

BB is more nasty here than previously. I wouldn't say evil, but certainly I've enjoyed some of the DR-entries. One example is Sauli during the weekly task. The HMs had given up on the task, they didn't think they would pass it. BB asked Sauli, how the task was going. Sauli said it was going fine...and BB snapped at him "Don't lie to me, you've given up haven't you?". Of course Sauli denied, BB went on - "How do you think you'll pass the task by picking up mushrooms and talking about make-up. What are you going to buy with 1 euro?"

One of the voices of BB this year is an actor. He's relatively well known here, but not really a household-name. He was in the team last year also, and was responsible of the funniest and most creative announcements.:thumbs:

Last year there was a red button in the house for a while. One time when Olli was about to push the button this same voice announced "Olli, are you really sure you want to do that...I would consider one more time if I was you.":tongue:

Tiina was evicted, as predicted. She got much more eviction-votes than save-votes. Tiina had -19% against Farbod's 24%.

The record...this year BB broke the record on the amount of HMs as well as the oldest ever HM entered the house. The new HM is Riitta, age 56.

The task has been altered a bit. There's no pictures around the house, Piia doesn't have a statue (although it's quite possible, that Suvi will have to make one for her...it's up to the public to decide) and there are no fanfares.

Instead, the citizens of Piia's state have to live in the extra room (the same, that is used as a reward room) and they have only the things that the flexibility of the system allows them to have. This means, that they only have canned food and no running water. The Dictator must have at least one citizen close to her at all time to serve her.

Piia naturally has the golden bedroom all for herself, she can order stuff outside of the house and the shop is in her use at any time she decides she needs something. Of course she has a chair, that is more suitable for a ruler.

The citizens are only allowed to cook their food in the kitchen, if the dictator allows them to.

Every time the dictator speaks, the citizens have to clap their hands after she's done.

Also, yesterday the citizens had to come up with a national song for the state. It had to be at least 90 seconds long, every citizen has to have a solo and the following words had to be included in the lyrics: honourable, invincible, the most beautiful in the world, and kind. The song has to be sung in the yard in a row every time the dictator wakes up. In the morning and if she's been taking afternoon naps.

Today they received an extra task. They have a bunch of junk on the yard, and the citizens have to build a monument for their honourable Dictator out of that junk.

Piia is really taking everything off of this task. Yesterday, when Farbod asked from her highness what she had thought of the national song she answered "I would've made a better one, but with your IQs I can't expect better." :hugesmile:

Today the Dictator had to name a Minister of the State to help her run the state, especially the minister's responsibility will be making sure that the leader's will is always be obeyed. The minister has to be treated with the same respect as the dictator by the citizens. The minister can have anything the dictator allows her to have.

The Minister of the State is Kadi.:thumbs:

Also, Jarkko is the first confirmed HM to be up for eviction on Sunday. He answered the red phone, and BB told him he would be up for eviction.

The state now has it's own animal, that will reflect the prosperity of the state. Kadi was named as the keeper of that animal, the animal's well-being will be on her responsibility. This animal is a spider.

This was one of those public votes, Kadi taking care of a spider was one of the options.

I almost forgot...in addition to having to tell the HMs who each have nominated, they won't be told who will be up for eviction. They'll find it out on Sunday, as they're telling who they nominated. If they're not too nervous, they can count the results themselves. :hugesmile:
