From today's Daily Record:
BIG Brother winner Cameron Stout overcame his fears yesterday in a daring stunt for charity.

The Orkney fish trader shook with terror as he was strapped to the wing of a World War II biplane.

But he was shaking with laughter and delight as he was unstrappped after the stunt on the 1940s Boeing Stearman over an airfield in Gloucestershire.

He did the 100mph stunt with the Utterly Butterly aerobatics team in aid of DEBRA UK, a national charity for sufferers of a painful skin disease.

Cameron, 32, said afterwards: "It was brilliant, I can't stop my knees shaking. I was terrified before I went up. But, once you are up, it's fantastic.

"The worst bit was taking off. The runway is just so bumpy. I'd do it again but it's too early to perform acrobatics. I'm used to flying because we go everywhere by plane in Orkney."

The charity fundraiser is just one of the new experiences in Cameron's life since winning Big Brother.

He said: "I have got a huge stock of letters from all these women I have never met. I haven't had a chance to go through them but I will when I get the time."
Well done, Cameron! :hello:

I remember that BB2's Elizabeth also wing-walked with the Utterly Butterly display team, and that there were photos of this on her web site.

They've both got far more bottle than me!!!

Indeed!

Mind you, it's not really wing WALKING is it?

It's wing sitting, strapped on and hanging on for dear life, praying and wishing you had worn a discrete incontinence pad, and given last night's Vindaloo the thumbs down..............:spin2:

Now that's proper wing sitting!

Did anyone ever see the old Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers film 'Flying down to Rio'? I mean the ladies were tap dancing on the wings! (Surely not special effects, back in the 1930's.......)
