Ive heard on the grapevine that because theres n celeb BB that BB9 will start much much earlier than usual next year-maybe in april or even earlier-and could last up to 6 months- how would u feel if this is true?

I've not heard any rumours like that. I think 6 months would be far too long and it would be extremely difficult to sustain interest for that amount of time. And, BB is often associated with the summer and that time period, so there would probably be an even greater lack of interest if it started in April because of the busy time schedule for a great number of people... (students like myself included, what with college etc.)

Now that it's been made pretty clear that the audience doesn't react particularly well to too many twists and confusing elements added to BB, it wouldn't make sense if BB didn't take at least some of that into account.

psychologicly its impossible to lock up people for more than 3 months otherwise, they'd cause irreversible damage to the contestants.
and finally: NO!, I don't think they should start it earlier, they have plenty of time to plan BB9. I don't want everything to go wrong as this

They should start mid-May, around 19-22 May.

I think the only reason they've started auditioning earlier is for people for the E4 January show. Bosses are looking for people for both series imo.

I don't think it's starting any earlier, but the auditions do start earlier, starting sometime in Mid-late November. So Marcus says anyway.

Is it? They did a year-long Big Brother in Germany once...

But this sounds like utter claptrap. I'll wait until next year before I even consider believing rumours like this.

"Heard on the grapevine" is no proper source.
