You have to remember that I and many other Brian fans are surprised and so happy at the result. I and many others thought the Twins had it in the bag. For weeks we have had to deal with "Brian is a loser, twins have won they are so much better and they are amazing and like pink! Woo!" and I think its finally time for Brian fans to celebrate and have our moment to congratulate the winner.

I think the "fix" topics are just stupid and I think they are just people making excuses for the Twins not winning. If people don't like Brian that's fair enough but it gets annoying for us when people go on like "It was a fix, C4 want a black winner."

I find the result very fishy indeed. In particular the size of the winning vote contradicts all other indications that at the very least it would have been a close vote.

60% - 40% is not a close vote. Does not make any sense when you consider most polls indicated a strong twin win a few with Brian just scraping through.

Bookies have been correct most of this series I believe. Yet we have what we have......Something just not right.....

Well CH4 certainly wanted Brian to win with all the massive bias on shows like BBLB and BBBM. That cannot be denied.....In that sense a fix was started weeks ago....

the twins becoming one was an advantage whether BB wanted that to get them out or to help them im not sure
brian winning by 60% is a bit strange seems as how close it was going to be

The only point this topic is trying to make , is that its ignorant when people like myself are told to shut up and deal with it just because I want to discuss the possiblity that it might have been a fix. I know I might have come across as rude and what not, and I apologize. I'm as shocked and surprised at Brian's win as the next person but I don't think it's a fix and I was letting my opinion be known. I completely understand why this topic was started and I, and I'm sure other Brian fans, will calm it down a bit - But I think the same has to be done with Twins supporters. It's not all one sided. How would they react and feel if the twins won and the bored was filled with 'It's a fix' comments and topic.

As I said in a previous topic , fix topics would probably have been created no matter who won.

Dont know about you but watching it i got the impression Brian was still favourite throughout. everyone on big mouth saying brian to win. the only funny thing was looking at the polls on this site saying twins to win. Although past experience with Aisleyne winning on the polls last year gave me some doubts.

BB couldn't win reguardless of who won, now Brian as won, other fans esp the twins fans are shouting fix, seems this is the only way twins fans can accept Bri got more votes, and seeing fix all over the forum they have been visiting throughout the series, it kind of gets to the fans who have supported Brian.
We would have had the same reaction if the twins had won, Brian fans would have been crying fix, Brian was robbed etc, etc, etc.

When we read people saying fix, how was it possible for him to win, 60% of the vote, how come? all the polls put the twins way ahead etc, what the online fan base has to remember is there are big brother fans who don't go online, or don't go to forums / vote in online polls, they do still vote though, and their vote can make a big difference to the outcome of who wins. I don't think Brian fans are being rude, but there is only so much one can read that their favourite only won because it was a fix. There is no way this will ever been proven one way or the other, so i just don't see the point in talking about it. For Brian fans be happy your fav won, pat yourself on ther back for helping to get him there, for the twins - if it makes you feel better, take in your heart that the twins were robbed, they were the real BB8 winner big fix etc, lets all just get along without bitching until BB9 starts wooohooo :pat::pat::pat:

The point of the thread was just for telling Brian's fans to calm down and stop ridiculising Samanda's fans. Fortunatly it stopped really quickly. :thumbs:
I'm not saying some Samanda's fans were awful by calling it a "fix" etc... but Brian's fans were the first to claim a fix when the twins became one so you can't reproch those fans for claiming it's a fix.
Things will calm down in a few days, you can understand us, I know Brian's fans aren't stupid. For us it was a huge disapointment, the biggest in the BBUK history.

Thats a load of c**p. The twins are white, why didn't all white people vote for them :shrug: Why didn't Charley win? She was black.

I know why people are thinking that. It's all about CBB5 and the multicolored eye of BB8 who was supposed to show the diversity then for C4, putting a black winner would be perfect. But I don't think that at all, that's what I said yesterday but I didn't think that one second. If Brian won it's because people voted for him and he deserved it (sorry but I can't see why lol).

I know why people are thinking that. It's all about CBB5 and the multicolored eye of BB8 who was supposed to show the diversity then for C4, putting a black winner would be perfect. But I don't think that at all, that's what I said yesterday but I didn't think that one second. If Brian won it's because people voted for him and he deserved it (sorry but I can't see why lol).

I don't see how having a black winner would look good for C4, as much as having a white winner. I think it's just people nitpicking at excuses.

I just said what I heard since yesterday. Maybe you don't think it was a link with CBB5 but during all the series CBB5 was more present in the forums etc.... People made the link between the 2 series.

Yes I'm a twins fan, maybe it's the opinion of thousand of people but it's not mine so you cant say he's the most entertaining at all because even if he won I won't think he was the most entertaining. As I've said a million times, the reason why Brian won is because the forums are only a smaller percent of BB viewers. If a TiBB member went on, we'd probably all support him and he'd win all our polls and maybe even DS and other BB site polls, but it doesn't mean he'd win. :bigsmile:

What's that got to do with anything? Twin fans still spent most their summer writing "twins 2 win" in almost every topic. Brian fans only ever posted to defend themselves and Brian. Yes telling people to shut up is stupid, but can you blame them? They're housemate won against the odds, their ecstatic and they can't even discuss it because they're topics get knocked on to page 3 or 4 by Samanda topics about how it was a fix or how it was stolen from Samanda, I suspect it was never Samandas in the first place, as some people have said here before, not all viewers thought/knew Brian was a fake (which he wasn't). I don't want to cause an argument I just didn't see any Brian fans asking Samanda fans to be nice when they were plaguing our Brian topics with pinkness throughout. :rolleyes:
