If it's true (remember, it is from NOTW) then Channel 4 probably kept it hidden because it was nearing the end of the series and they didn't want another racism argument to break out. Also, the Thursday night highlights were shown during the finale, and that would've looked even worse... Either way, it was still wrong of them to hide it, especially seeing as Emily was kicked out of the house for saying it.

i have my doubts about botting emily out in the first place. it was a bit cruel to be fair. ****** is said all over! we are braught up with it in comedy, music, TV. A word is only offensive in its context and ****** has been given a whole new meaning in this day in age. To punish everybody who uses it and cast them out and forget they ever existed like emily. Or totally subjecting Jade Goodie as a rascist putting the sole blame on her is the problem with todays society.

PLUS! its news of the world i wouldnt take this as evidence Ziggy said anything

The double standards are shocking. Emily must be SO pissed, even I'm mad at how unfair this is, and there is no excuse at all for them hiding it.

They can't even excuse it by saying the voting lines for Ziggy were open, because they were for Emily too.

Anyone involved in the producing of this year's series MUST be fired for the terrible job they've done overall this year.

well i am shocked to read about this ,and i am a true ziggy fan but i have to say that if emily was kicked out for using this word then its only fair ziggy was too,although im not going to deny i would hae been gutted if this had happened.I dont agree that emily should have been removed in the first place but its not right to have one rule for one hm and a different one for another one.

I am NOT a Ziggy fan and anyone who has read my posts knows I can't stand the cheesemeister. But (and I have said this before), going back many weeks to Emily, she did not like Charley and although she said in the Diary room that she did like her, we all know she held Charley in contempt.

When looking back at that situation, I believe the way Emily spoke to Charley was in a demeaning way. This is my own opinion and I accept that others are entitled to theirs. I am even now in two minds as to whether she should had been removed. It must had been a very hard decision on the producers part, however I guess they had no choice but to act on what the legal guys and gals said.

Now we have Ziggy. Was he saying it in a derogatory way? Was he talking to Charley Brian or Nicky maliciously and had he done so before? Have we ever heard Ziggy use any racial language? The answer is no each time. It was totally out of character. While he was in the house he was cheesy not racist.

The News of the Worls wanted to sell papers and by god the did, my local shop was sold out this morning so it worked. BB is still big news so that's good news for next year isn't it?

Don't hang out Ziggy to dry. I do NOT believe he is a racist and the same goes for Emily although her personality is revolting. The circumstances of any situation must always be looked into and not just the 'word' and not everybody here is doing this.
