ive just read this and what do you think???

Today’s Daily Star reports that BB bosses want to populate next year’s House with a rowing family, in the biggest shake up of the series format to date.

The rowing relatives plan is a bid to breathe new life into Big Brother, after this year’s series limped to its conclusion without a whimper, not a bang.

The family would come from a rough housing development, and the newspaper draws parallels to the Gallagher family in C4’s Shameless.

An insider said last night: “As everyone would know each other, there would be no being nice to each other for the first few weeks. There would already be lots of bad blood and arguments between the contestants so they wouldn’t be afraid to confront each other.

“If some of them have Asbos or have been banged up in jail, so much the better. Dysfunctional families make better telly than goody-goody ones. We’ve seen that before in shows such as Wife Swap.”

Producers are considering families with up to 13 members, and top of the wish-list is a layabout dad, a mad mum and a teenage girl. The Daily Star speculates that non-family members may be thrown to the wolves during the series.

The Daily Star has been an unreliable source for BB rumours for many years, but it’s hardly likely that BB producers have had time to put their feet up yet, let alone consider planning the next series already.

As if to quash these rumours completely, auditions for BB9 have been scheduled for earlier in the year than ever before. Full details can be found on the C4 website.

And we all know what happened the last time BB put a family – Jade Goody, mum Jackie and boyfriend Jack – in the House. form big blagger

The producers are nowhere near who goes in BB9.

That would be horrible, we need a mix of housemates not just a family luckily it's the Daily Star, The story would be more believable if it was written in a Beano Comic then the daily star.
