Which member of your family does your head in the most?

I have done a poll

Which does your **** head in the most? Who makes you angry and annoyed - [even though you love them], we all have this problem.

An annoying Brother/Sister/mum/dad/uncle/etc. that you just had to put up with, even though they love to get to you, ha! Also, why do they do it and any good stories? How do you deal with it? Also, I will tell you a story too.

I'm gonna say my grandma on this one (despite having 3 evil horrible older brothers!)

The evidence?

She constantly calls me fat.
She criticises my hair for being too long, so when I get it cut she says "I liked it long".
She judges everyone straight away.
If someone tells her something is "popular" she immediately agrees and therefore demands that I like it, so I'm popular.
She goes "hmm" when I tell her I've done something good, it obviously doesn't meet her standards.
She casts a critical eye over every single thing I do, and instead of telling me I've done something wrong she passively says "You should've done this..."
She criticises my physical appearance, then compliments me a second later. GRR.

But she's still... slightly... lovely.

My mum,dad and brother.. I can't stand them!
My parents make me out as some kind of slut which I hate (of course, the sister is an angel in their eyes:rolleyes:) and my brother's just plain annoying.

I'd probably have to go with my dad.

He asks the same questions over and over again, so he obviously never listens.
Moans about doing anything for me or my mum or just doesn't do things, if a friend asks him to something, he'll drop everything and just go and do it.
He has a bad temper.
Very judgemental of people he doesn't know.
Rude in public.
Spends most of the evening moaning about his job, when I suggest he changes it, he just goes off on one.
The main annoyance, making trivial comments during my favourite shows.Every night that Big Brother was on he'd start up :mad:.

Some great replies folks:thumbs: I know it is hard to find the perfect family where everyone gets along just fine, but hey - life ain't perfect, ha! My problem is my Sister. She was okay while we were younger and there is five years between us and she is the younger at 17 years old - but she is really doing all our heads in and has changed sooooooo much. Doesn't want to work, complaining all the time and suffers from the illness - [I'm always right syndrome] you know the one, ha!

Oooh, what a brilliant question! It's a tie between my mum and my little brother.


My mum, like most mums, can't stop nagging, I try so hard to please her and she picks faults in it still. For example, if I'm making the tea, I'll ask her what I should do at a certain stage, and she'll yell at me for "not using my brain"

But if I didn't ask her, she'd yell at me for not asking her. I can't win.



But my little brother is really, really infuriating. I can't make you all believe this, but he is the most annoying little brother EVER. I know everybody says that about their own, but they don't understand what it's like.

My little brother insults me all the time, casually, he'll just slip it into the conversation.

For example:

"Your ma's gay, Greg."

"That's your ma too."

"No it's not, you're adopted."



What do you say to that? It's not true, and it doesn't upset me, but it's the constant wave of niggling at me and it wears me down, he'll come into my room often and say "Ehhh.. you're gay." and then walk out again. Or he'll come in and say "Can you help me with my homework?" "No, it's your homework, you'll never learn if you don't do it yourself. You wouldn't have been given homework that you can't do at all." "Haha HOMO WORK!"


WHAAAT.



..I think it's my brother. He's the one that annoys me the most.

He is always mocking me,like always!

He always thinks he can get his own way but no-one else can

My dad can also be annoying about school/my room but can be well nice too.

probably my dad, i don't have any brothers or sisters so im lucky in that way to not have that many people that annoy me so my dad takes the prize ... bless him :tongue: he always just winds me up on purpose sometimes we hate each other but then another time we get on really well its quite strange

My mum! i seriously hate her !
she annoys me so much and gets a nark on all the time when she constantly cleans and moans that were "lazy" and when we go to do the dishes or something but wait like 10 minuits she cant even wait and does it herself and gets a nark on then and she doesnt even give you a chane to do anything!! arggghh!!

I am sad to hear that you have problems with so many of your close family. I hope you do find some happiness - somewhere within all that negativity which you see Sophie. Parents can seem a nightmare at times - if your sister seems like such an angel - [in their eyes] and that is how you see it too? Then perhaps your sister is their favourite because she gets on better with them than you do? I have a friend who is feeling the same way, he Has a brother who relates to them better
