Chanelle was the only good think about that show, 'What the HMs did next!' How boring was the rest of it? They didn't show hardly anything of the twins or Brian which was really disapointing! If it wasn't for Chanelle on there i would have defo switched it off!

Anyone agree?

Disagree. She's a terrible actress and is very inconsistent. She was complaining about walking on a beach, but later in the show she was doing a photoshoot on one - no problems whatsoever. She can't even scream properly. She's a spoilt brat and she thinks she's bigger than she actually is - a total primadonna.

The only "highlights" involving Chanelle were;

- When she told us that someone told her she was "A disgrace to West Yorkshire" - which is, of course, 100% true.

- When VB's bodyguards said Posh wasn't exiting the stadium in Chanelle's direction. We all know VB doesn't particularly like Chanelle so she obviously didn't want to have to meet her outside, so exited a different way. Understandable, of course.

- When Charley made a complete fool of her in that argument - Charley was saying she couldn't wait to meet her again while Chanelle was complaining that Charley would be there - holding the grudge, as always. And Charley confronted Chanelle about the things she said in the press. Egg on Chanelle's face! Chanelle preached about being open and honest to people instead of bitching, but couldn't even talk to Charley the things she said about her to the press! Pathetic, and she looked like a fool!

I agree with Wasted, plus for the reasons I listed under a different topic [which I actually don't have the patience to retype.]

It's a shame, because I liked her before I saw all of this.
Not that I was a fan, but I didn't dislike her.
Now I do.

However, ive still added her on myspace and said hello none the less..
But only because I have secret undercover plans to infiltrate the twins lives >_< lol, or at least talk to them online.

The only thing Chanelle did was make herself look stupid, first off with her pathetic tantrum on the beach & then secondly going all the way to LA in search of VB when in reality she knew that she wouldn't get anywhere near her.

Chanelle really shot herself in the foot and comitted character suicide on that hour long show.

I agree that Amy has the least class, out of all the housemates infact...
Turning upto the wrap party with actual lingerie on is the next step up from being completely naked. Only at least if she was naked, she wouldn't be wearing clothes that imply she's some form of sl*t.

andybigbro
07-09-2007, 11:27 PM
Right Ok, but i thought you did and i was defending her saying that Chanelle had more Class

Anyway in the first place i wasnt talking about her having Class i was talking about her Being class in the show tonight as in a slang word for Great/Amazing etc

I think Amy does have more class. She's mature, articulated, intelligent, and reasonable. Chanelle is none of these things. Amy was just wearing that at the wrap party for the attention... and she got it. Chanelle is the same, it's just that her methods of getting attention are different, and this applies to most housemates anyway. It's kind of her job to take sleazy photoshoots and the like anyway. At least she probably doesn't throw tantrums, act like a diva, and think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I know you meant "class" as in brilliant and all but I just wanted to add that!

There is no justifiable statement explaining that "if you've got it flaunt it" is a phrase that makes any sense...

That's the equivalent of saying if I have a gun in my house, shoot people with it.

Just because I HAVE a gun and CAN shoot people with it, doesn't make it right.
And just because I HAVE a nice body and CAN show it to people, doesn't make it right either.

If exposing your body was a criminal offense, many more people would class it as wrong purely for the fact it's against the law. Some people don't know their own minds these days.

Showing people your body for attention is something ive always seen as an insecurity. Then people may announce "im comfortable with my body, why shouldnt I show it off?"

But if YOU are comfortable with YOUR body, why would YOU need to show everyone else YOUR body? when YOU are the one who's ok with it. That's an over flawed and illogical statement to make.

Attention seeking is the only thing that explains it.
And why would someone want people staring at their semi naked body and lusting after them?

The answer to that question is the reason why Amy isn't classy, and is full of insecurities.

Oh no. How rude of me to have an opinion and post it on an internet forum, and risk the chance of you not agreeing with it! In future I will make sure to keep my opinion to myself unless I am certain that it is similar to yours - NOT!

You could have just replied to my opinion by stating your opinion constructively, with reasoning and logic, but instead you chose to to reply with "go suck a lemon" in an immature fashion, and probably because my opinion is different to yours.

If you can't argue your case instead of making silly posts when it comes to disagreeing with someone else, you will most likely lead a frustrated life due to not being able to deal with it when someone else has the audacity to have a different opinion to yourself and actually state it. Because believe me, not everyone will always agree with what you have to say.

If you don't like what I have to say: 1) Ignore it, and move on 2) Reply with a mature response and tell me why you think otherwise. Telling me to suck a lemon won't change my opinion. I still think Amy has more class than Chanelle for the reasons I stated in my post above!

I wouldn't describe someone exposing their body as insecure at all. Quite the oposite they are secure enough with themselves to do what they want regardless of critisism. Exposing ones body could be regarded as a mating call could it not.. Or more likely exploiting what nature has provided in order to make money....

Retroman

Im not saying she's insecure about her body, quite obviously she isn't...
However, I think she has doubts about herself that result in her relying on her body to gain the love, liking and attention of mostly men, and women.

As for mating calls, even animals don't look at eachother and have sexual desires based on the other animals looks. And if they do, it's usually due to the animals colouring etc, not due to the fact they find them physcially desirable.

Anyone who takes an interest would be doing so purely because they have sexual intensions...
Which is negative attention in my view.

Let's put it this way:
When a girl is being looked at by a man she fancies, she is flattered and happy.
When a girl is being looked at by a man she finds unnattractive, she is offended and displeased and will often brand them a pervert.

So even the girls themselves know it's wrong, they just class it as right whenever the person who most likely has the intent of using them..is someone they're attracted to.

And as for the money issue, showing your body for money is the only profession that comes to mind right now...that doesn't actually involve any talent or hard work, but merely takes advantage of the publics desire for nudity/partial nudity and uses them for profit.

That isn't really admirable..
Plus, I doubt anyone of that nature has ever been portrayed in a novel/film/play as "classy"

Firstly, comparing you having a gun and Amy showing off her body is 2 differnet things. Secondly, so what if she wanted teh attention, she definitely got it

Comparing a gun and Amy showing off her body are two differnet things, correct...you usually need two or more things to make a comparison.

"so what if she wanted teh attention, she definitely got it"
That's not really much of an argument.

"I think chanelle looks good and if you have the body why not show if off"
That's just the exact same line as "if you've got it, flaunt it" which as I said, isn't really much of an argument...and doesn't justify a reason.

She can use parts of her body to hurt people, but you're not saying "if she has a hand, punch people with it"
Just a very weak argument.

At the end of the day, Amys her own person she can wear what she wants to

Lol again, very weak argument...
Thieves are their own person, they can thieve what they want to. Again, doesn't make it right.

Of course she can wear what she wants to, but I was saying people who expose themselves so much tend to be a certain kind of person.

And since whilst in the house, she was widely disliked, im guessing that's good enough evidence that I was right.

Billy
08-09-2007, 01:07 PM
They dont tend to be a "Kind of person". Amy was nice and kind in teh house, and just cause she wears revealing clothes dont mean anything

Retroman
08-09-2007, 01:13 PM
Well you're part of a minority that think she is nice...
As most people seemed to dislike her, in and out of the house.

Which would imply, that if we did a survey of the whole of the UK and asked them whether Amy is a nice person or not...a large percentage would say no.

And wearing revealing clothes does mean something. Not everyone wears revealing clothes, or lingerie to parties etc. As psychologists would say, everything you do reflects a part of your personality =] absolutely everything.

Billy
08-09-2007, 01:16 PM
If people still thought she wasnt nice she wouldnt hvae got cheered at the final.

It is my opinion that I think Amy is nice, I dont need the rest of the British population to back me up, so the survey statement means nothing to me

Retroman
08-09-2007, 01:19 PM
Well it should mean something =]
Because it's back up for my argument, and helps to disprove yours.
But perhaps you choose not to acknowledge that.

Anyway, this sorry excuse for a debate might as well be over..
Seems no good points seem to be being made against mine.
So i'll move on.

Billy
08-09-2007, 01:22 PM
Excuse me? I acknowledge the fact that people dont like Amy, but at the end of the day, people dislike every housemate, so it makes no differnece to me, I liked Amy, I couldnt care less if others dont, so basically there wasnt an asrgument, I liked Amy you didnt
