From the News Of the World website (http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/bb/0909_twin.shtml)
BIG Brother winner Brian Belo is a loser in love again after Amanda ditched him for the SECOND time.
The pair, who split briefly in the house, have been like lovesick puppies since the show ended—but Amanda has told Brian there's NO chance of sex.
A pal of Amanda said bluntly: "There's no romance any more and there's not going to be one. Amanda has text-messaged Brian and made that clear to him."
Kiss
Friends first thought their relationship was serious when the ditzy blonde agreed to go on a date to McDonald's.
Although she changed her mind the pair then canoodled at a hotel and left the Big Brother wrap party together hand-in-hand. There was even talk of marriage.
Amanda's pal explained: "When she came out of the house she thought it was only fair to give things a go but it's obvious the two of them are never going to work as a couple. She respects him and thinks he is a nice guy but she's not sexually attracted to him."
Essex boy Brian, 20, who broke down in tears when Amanda, 19, dumped him in the house, is said to be traumatised again. After his win he said of Amanda: "I've never been in love before but I think I'm in love with her. I really respect her. I'm not looking for any other girl. I've never been in a proper relationship. I've never done anything with anyone properly.
"Our kiss in the caravan was amazing—my favourite moment of the series. Having sex with Amanda would be like angels coming down and harps playing."
But Amanda's musical plans only involve twin Sam. This week they film a video for their first single, a cover of Barbie Girl. The twins, runners-up on the Channel 4 show, are also in talks with makers Endemol about their own TV series.
I do not know how accurate this is, but it is notable that it is a "pal" of Amanda, who is unnamed.

I just read about that, well at least she gave him a chance to see how things would go, she can't pretend she fancy him to please over people, I'm saying that because some people are bond to moan. He will find someone, I give a week or so and he will get a girl.
I am likeing the thing at the end about the Twins getting there own TV Show :dance2: I luv it, hope it happens

Like Sticks said, it from a unnamed "pal" of Amanda, and when papers say pal they usually mean somebody who spoke to her once when she was like 12.
I wouldn't believe it until you read it direct from Amanda or Brian.
I didn't even they were "together."
Brian iss featured on 'Barbie Girl' so I expect he is in the video.

I think that is all lies. This so called pal isnt even named and most articles are named with real peoples names. I dont believe a word of this article. I will only believe genuine sources like from what Amanda and Brian say no one else. I think there both still together and will stay togethe forever. Good luck to them I say .

Newspapers are what they are. Who can tell if it's truth or not. However I hope she has broken relationship ties with him. There is no future in it for Amanda as Brian is a trophy hunter and she is well rid if this be the truth....

My advice is to not accept what the article says, but not to deny it either...
Just keep an open mind possibly.
Although, Im sure I remember her saying that Brian will be in the video?
Perhaps it was on "What the housemates did next" towards the end.
So if he is now not on the video for Barbie Girl, perhaps we can assume this is true.
Either that, or Brian isn't doing it for his own reasons, or was dropped by the people working on the video for some reason. And this article is just manipulating that into something it isn't.
Have Amanda and Brian done any OFFICIAL interviews yet? for any magazines. Just curious.
It would be nice of them to clear the situation up, to inform the public as to what's going on. Although to be fair, they are entitled to their privacy, especially when it comes to their love life.

The twins did New magazine, a subsidiary of Express Group newspapers which own the Express, Daily Star and OK magazine as well.
I do not know if NOTW is right, but just after Paul was evicted, in BB2 they ran the article "I'll give Helen the Heave Ho", with unnamed friends saying how Paul was going to dump Helen just after the final of Big Brother 2. It was the Daily Star that Paul turned to to say he was genuine.
Note NOTW is owned by Murdoch's News International which also owns Sky.
Retroman
09-09-2007, 04:13 PM
Paul turned to the Daily Star to announce he was genuinely going to dump her?
Or that he was genuine about being with her?
Im assuming you mean the latter, but I just had to check.
I can't blame Amanda if it turns out she isn't attracted to him, he does have an odd face/mouth in my opinion and looks ten years older than he actually is..but of course that doesn't mean anything when we're talking about Amanda's taste in men.
Plus, I don't know if she'd want to deal with a sexual novice who apparently has fallen for her..perhaps she could view him as being very clingy and putting too much pressure on her to be "the love of his life."

Thank god!!!!
I never thought Amanda felt anything for him, It was just a kiss, anyone can have a kiss and mean nothing.
How much stupid Brian can be? thinking that hw might get a go with Amanda??? That's ridiculous, I don't think Amanda is a zoophialic, Brian is a monkey
Retroman
09-09-2007, 06:18 PM
That could be viewed as a racist comment in regards to your monkey statement...
I hope it wasn't.
Anyway, he's a sexual novice who's never had a girlfriend. So of course he invests too much emotion in people when they show him some attention, because he still has the frame of mind of a 13yr old when it comes to love.

We do have to take into account that the NOTW has got it wrong in the past
Retroman

If they are together, and are going strong...
We'll soon see them together lots, holding hands, or someone catching them kissing etc.
If it became serious and marriage was a possibility, we'd most likely end up knowing about that also.
But yea, I feel if they are together someone will find evidence of it sooner or later. Or perhaps they'll even give that evidence voluntarily.
If they aren't together and all of this is true, it will be hard to know for certain unless one of them tells us.

The twins were an example of how to talk with some respect for the people being talked about. To refer to someone especially a famouse individual as a geezer is quite frankly the language of a moron.......
When BB had the celebrity with the deep voice. What did Brain say. "Who is that geezer". Uncouth....That's why Brian can never be good enough for Amanda....
geezer as far as i and 99% of the public ar aware geezer means man, bloke, guy, dude what ever you call it and none of the HM's new that the "geeezer" was famous!

"Geezer" Is a slang ignorant way to refer to any person. Only Brian claimed not to know who shakespear was.....Which of course was a lie as he covered the subject at School.

Brian did a lie detector test, he was asked whether he knew who William Shakespear was before entering the house...he answered no and was telling the truth.
It was one of his questions when all the housemates did the lie detector.
And as they're 96% accurate, there's 4% chance he's a liar.
We also don't know if he ever attended school as much as he should, and it's quite clear he isn't well educated. I also doubt he shares the company of people who would ever talk/mention Shakespear, and he only knew Romeo And Juliet as the film with Leonardo Di Caprio in it.
And I agree on the Amanda being too good for him frontage, and the twins knowing how to address people with respect. Their vocabulary could do with improving at times, but I actually can't even recall them ever swearing, or using any major form of slang besides abbreviation such as "defo" which im pretty sure they picked up off their friends no doubt.
As for the word "geezer" I have seen it used as a disrespectful term, kind of like the word "mug" eg. if he had said "who is this mug?" when hearing the deep voice of the famous film narrator/promoter.
Then again, ive heard it said as an innocent word for a man/guy etc.
Even if he did mean it in the first way mentioned, it could just be something many people in his area are known for saying..and he might not have meant any actual disrespect.

The BB lie detector test was meaningless as it was not taken under the strict control conditions that a lie detector would be used for. The BB lie detectoe inciident was for entertainment only and carries no weight whatsover as to truth or not truth for any of the housemates.....BB simply used it like one would use a toy to play with....

Was it set up in any proper way at all?
Or were Big Brother merely deciding whether it was truth or lies themselves?
It's just, Liam was asked serious questions such as if he was jealous of Brian and Amanda and it said he was. Then him and Brian had a big talk about it.
He also got asked if he fancied anyone in the house, said no and was telling the truth...then looked relieved and told everyone how that showed he wasn't jealous of Brian and Amanda because he fancied her.
If it was a joke or for entertainment purposes, the housemates took it very seriously...
And if they weren't hooked up to the lie detector properly, im sure they would have ignored the results.
As far as im aware, a lie detector involves being sat on your own, calmly being asked questions and them monitoring your heart rate.
The worst case scenario I can see is that they weren't in 100% proper conditions, so the 96% accuracy was lowered slightly/a lot.

We don't if it was set up properly or not. Even if it was set up properly the questioning was not done scientifically as would a lie detector expert and questioner. They would need to ask test questions first to establish reading parimaters for each housemate.
The whole thing was for entertainment and will have an accuracy rating of zero......

Even if it was just the random pressing of a buzzer, it would have a 50/50 chance of being correct.
What I find more alarming though, is that there are people in this country who don't know who Gizmo is [the small mogwai from the film Gremlins.]
He's been shown on television in the past so many times he's almost become a part of British TV History. Plus, after all these years, his figures/replica's are still being sold in Game/Gamestation/HMV store's all over the country.
Although im straying slightly off topic with that so...
