Yeah I've been thinking about this too... James and I will probably have to correct the forum totals nearer the time, so the post count is a true representation of the posts on the board.

Heres a little stats calendar thing which you can see how many members/posts are being made on TiBB - http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/statscal.php

This is a rough estimation but... if theres approx 10,000 posts a week... we have approx 83,000 posts to go.... TiBB's 1 millionth post should be some time in late November or early December

That's a good point, it certainly was a lot quieter up until BB5 where there seemed to be loads more posting.I'd imagine it was very quiet when BB wasn't on during the early years but now it's always fairly busy.

We won't know until after we have run a few scripts on the database. So it won't be straight away. There are thing like posts that have been removed from the system or locked in admin which have to be taken into account.

Well James or Mark need to run some scripts to correct the post counts for those that are held in the towers. That will I reduce the number below the million mark once again for a while. Problem we don't know until the scripts are run how many posts will be lost but it going to be in the hundreds. So we could still be looking at the millionth post happening tonight or sometime tomorrow depending on how many posts are removed.
