Are music related talent shows getting old?

Im begining to think that music related talent shows are begining to get old. What's everyone elses view?

dunno really. same could be said about bb seeing as it has been going longer than x factor and stuff.

Yeah definately. I find it so annoying that the Christmas number 1 each year is the same old generic "heart warming" single by the winner of the X Factor. It takes the excitement out of it and the people who win always become complacent afterwards and fade away. I know Leona and Shayne Ward are making new material but there's a long gap between them winning and releasing their second (or even first in Leona's case) album.

They're just boring me now to be honest.

I agree Jack. Until X factor ends, the Christmas No.1 will always be the winner of that series. :mad:
