http://zamzar.com/url/
There you go =]
It converts youtube video's into any format you like.
Then sends them to your email address two minutes later and you can download them.
OR
You can download itube, search for it on google.
But I find the Zamzar.com method is quicker.

Vixy.net is the best when it works...
However, due to them not using emails but actually providing you with a direct download, their server is busy almost all of the time =] it's busy almost everytime I use it infact.
But you can try vixy.net too.

Does anyone know how you can download a video from somewhere else...oh forget it, i'll tel you all, there is an exclusive clip of Sam and Amanda's barbie girl song
http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1185143600/bctid1184507674

That clip is already on Youtube. You would need to download it onto your pc, and then upload it again onto your youtube account.

Tried that twice now and got:
"Failure: cannot get download url..."
This usually helps for me:
Make sure you are using http://www.youtube.com URLs and not http://uk.youtube.com

Zamzar works for me but the quality is completely rubbish. it annoys me so much. you think that youtube wud just let ppl download it straight from their site...........Honestly.

firefox users should just install this, its quick and ace.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4318
and vlc media player is free to download and can play the files as they are with no need to convert to other formats.
