Danielle became the Daily Star Babe when she came out of the house. I guess they got her at a knocked down price after the she was involved in the Jade Gobby affair.

Poor Jo wasn't on strong ground career wise when she went in the house. She pinned her hopes on the show giving her her a boast and getting her back in the public eye. Being Jades friend in the house and supporting her has now ruined her completely. She is now seen as one of the bullies from CBB5 and she didn't get much, if any, positive press.

It's not surprising she is depressed by the whole experience and although I feel sorry for her I know she did bring it on herself. What she needs to do now if find away to redeem herself. Moaning about the past won't help.

I do feel sorry for her even though she was horrible. And I don't even feel like I SHOULD feel sorry for her... she never felt sorry for Shilpa when she watched Jade attack her... in fact, she laughed and joined in. And Shilpa did nothing to deserve that.

Whereas Jo is now suffering the consequences of something she actually did, unlike Shilpa, who was bullied for no reason. For that I don't know if I should feel sorry for Jo, but I do anyway.

the reason i feel sorry for her is because the public now hate her but they love dainelle and jade more then ever!

I feel sorry for her alot, but I dont see why Danielle should be blamed for getting away with it, its not her fault that people havent given her death threats or attackedher

i felt sorry for Jo after seeing her on tv crying and shaking in that horrid interview on gmtv, she was really upset and distraught, she did not deserve to be placed in that position. i didnt see the whole interview, just a clip on the news so i only saw a segment but that was bad enough

I agree
I feel sorry for her.
I think she just went along with the crowd.
She didn't do as bad as the others, yet the other's have pretty much got their careers back on track.

I'm just wondering, because I've now read this excuse a lot, but why is the excuse that she was "just going with the crowd" considered a valid excuse? She was still a coward and a bully, the only difference is that she didn't do the dirty work but she sat back and watched with relish and joy, which didn't make her role in this situation much better imo. This could also apply to Danielle Lloyd I think, as she actually milked this excuse.

To me this is like saying that you feel sorry for some Nazis because at Nuremberg some Nazis were hanged and some weren't

The others from CBB are perceived to have got away with - all that proves is that they have better PR back-up than O'Meara.

the bottom line is she shouldn't have done what she did, she joined in with what she thought were the "popular girls" - afterwards she didn't have the ability to make money off of it.

Had the "popular" girls been praised when they left the house, as they thought they were going to be - would she have joined in and reaped the rewards of that or would she have turned it down, and returned to private life ?

We all know the answer to that question

Feel sorry for her - No

Disgusted at the way the other two are not ostracised by supposedly civilised society - yes, absolutely

What it says about our country, to me, makes uncomfortable viewing.

l like Jo before she when in the house and at the start, she was very nice person, then Jade went in things start to change. With the influence of Jade and Danielle ,Jo really change, is not only because she said some very nasty things to Shilpa which make me dislike her ,is also the way she carried herself, her habit is disgusting which made alot of people dislike her too. All the things happen in the house was not nice at all, when she came out,she is not apologetic for what she done, instead she said she done nothing wrong, which l find she made a big mistake .The problem with Jo she chose to hide form her mistake rather than face it

I love Jo. i've loved her for years and still love her now. Always will.

She's taken a break from music just now to get her health sorted out. She wanted to make a comeback but she's terrified some un-hearted idiots turn up at her gigs and boo her etc.. so she's just waiting till shes better in herself and then she'll be back. she knows that when she does come back that she'll have to deal with people saying things again, whereas danielle & jade have already dealth with all that as their still in the spot light. So i think she's just preparing herself for it again.

theres obviously alot of people who doesn't like her.. but think about it - how would YOU feel if you had to go through something like jo danielle & jade have been through? not neciseraly the racism row , but the whole nasty comments things etc. so think about it. i'm sure you wouldn't like to have people being horriable about you, sending you death threats etc! So just think how they feel. danielle & jade are alot stronger people, whereas Jo has alwaysnot been that strong, she's been through so much all her life and she didn't deserve to be treated how she has been.

I'm sure alot of you will agree with me.. you don't even need to like her, but NOBODY should say she deserved it. if you do, then your just sick. and i'm sure you'd be the first to break down if it happened to you

How would I feel if I went through something like Jade, Jo and Danielle? Hmm... I would feel extremely ashamed, knowing what a vicious, nasty bully I was in CBB5. I wouldn't like the treatment, but I would realise that I wouldn't be treated as such if I wasn't involved in bullying Shilpa, so I would realise that I had brought it on myself and that I am suffering the consequences of my own actions.

My sympathy for Jo is limited, as well as Danielle and Jade. They never emphasised with Shilpa when she was being bullied by them inside the house, so no-one should really have to feel sorry for them, or think about how they would feel in their positions.

I'm not saying she deserved it, but she brought it on herself. If she wasn't so horrible in BB she wouldn't have been treated like she was.

And spacebandit raised some excellent points in their post. I still feel a bit sorry for Jo but I don't think I should.

I totally agree. I have no sympathy for either one of them.
