The baby swap storyline has failed, its shown in the ratings.

Billy
28-02-2008, 10:27 PM
Umm not really, Corrie is still pulling in 9m regularly

Spike
28-02-2008, 10:29 PM
Corrie is still getting brilliant ratings but when the baby swap storyline is the main storyline the ratings are down.

Scarlett.
28-02-2008, 10:35 PM
Aye, Corrie is about to get really good
with the
Rosie-Liam-Maria-Carla-Tony-Underworld-Victoria Court storyline for Liams exit, the Restaraunt fire, The David mind games plot and the face from the past

Spike
28-02-2008, 10:38 PM
Well Corrie should hopefully be getting over 10.3m with those future storylines

Scarlett.
28-02-2008, 10:40 PM
Aye, and I think the baby plot is in its closing weeks now

Corrie did well, ITV will be pleased that finally the second episode is beating the first episode , it hasn't done that for a few months I think now. Hollyoaks suffered the most from the warm weather yesterday which is understandable as it is on earlier and its audience are much younger.

Very good for EE, beating CT 2nd episode by 400,000. CT share for the 1st episode is very good but the 2nd ep share looks unusually low.

Overnight ratings suggest 8.1m for EE last night. Not bad if you think about it. Up against the football as well as being on a wednesday.

Just wish it had been on in its usual slot. Maybe would have got more viewers, which it deserved.

Should get good ratings for tonight as its in its usual slot plus I think this episode is likely to be better than last nite cos there is gona be much more drama.

Bring on tonight!!

Its getting better...the crap producer has been kicked out so has the exec producer....expect Emmerdale to get a lot better with two ex-Corrie producers at the helm

Emmerdale has had a real boost lately, is there a big storyline going on?
Hollyoaks is doing awful and is about 1million down on this time last year when taking C4 and E4 averages
The Australian soaps on Five are doing well with Home and Away with Five and Fiver added together doing much better than Hollyoaks with C4 and E4 added together.

Nah, its gonna get big ratings next week though, with Jack Sugden's funeral (The tribute episodes to Clive Hornby)

Emmerdale has been a lot better later though

It will be interesting come September when ITV will reportedly move the soaps into the 8pm slot and Hollyoaks goes in the 7pm slot, it will look like this

7pm - Hollyoaks
7.30pm - EastEnders
8pm - Emmerdale
8.30pm - Corronation Street

I can see that increasing all the soaps ratings if ITV goes ahead with its plans
