It's so annoying! Our Tesco already has advent calendars.

Is it true that it's a tradition in UK to prepare Christmas months ago ?
Because every year, in France, we see it on national news and we are laughing at you, British people. No offence but it's funny, like the betting system, we find it hilarious !

Maybe one day you will meet a french journalist for the french tv asking you what does it feel to be in Christmas in September. Haha I would have a laugh one more time !

I have seen a lot of christmas stuff in the shops Amy, but I love it, it reminds me that now is the time to start my shopping not the week before christmas! I have already bought a lot for my grandson, some of my youngest daughters and ordered hubbies pressies so am feeling decidedly smug at this early stage lol. Oh and I have bought advent calenders as well!!! saddo eh?

I love christmas, but seeing the stuff out so early makes me excited and then christmas seems so much further away!

Our shops have advent calenders, selection boxes and christmas cards out...they've been there for about 2weeks:shrug:

That doesn't make you sad Sunny. You're just being a smart shopper and doing it early. Good on you.

Saw lots of Xmas stuff in Aldi earlier today, we've got an Xmas pudding already. When I saw the ingredients for the Christmas cake I thought "We'll be getting that next time we go there" as we tend to start that early in November, and make one for ourselves and one for any family members who haven't had chance to make one. The only year it's been shop-bought was when Natasha was born as everything was all over the place so we ended up getting one from Tesco instead!

supernoodles!
