Will we be able to use the Wi-Fi feature on iPod Touch's for free like in America or will we have to wait longer?

Surely it would work as long as you can connect to a wireless router.
Either use one you currently have which wouldn't cost extra or use an unprotected wireless nextwork which wouldn't cost you anything either.

Is that what you mean?

Starbucks have teamed up with Apple in America to bring them free wi-fi for the iTunes store, YouTube and Safari. I wondered if we would be getting that free service in the UK.

Possibly yes :)

Starbucks have NO plans to launch their iTunes service in the UK at the moment. It won't be rolled out fully in the US until 2009, so don't expect any announcements soon.

I don't see why you couldn't use Starbucks' existing Wi-Fi hotspots.

Since the iPod Touch runs on Wi-Fi, I don't see why you can't connect to any hotspot in the world (as long as you have access to it).
