Headache/Migraine

Who Suffers with this then now with me I suffer very badly with both especially if im very stressful when I get these I have to lie down and rest but because I take medication for Epilepsy I do suffer with it for a few days or so but it does go when it wants to how many of you get it too like me.:yuk::yuk:

I get migaines so can sympathise with you, I luckily dont get them very often though xxx

I get them too ..... and have done since I was about 12.

They dont happen every often but like you the only thing that curesit is sleep

I normally get very bad ones but they go away if I take some painkillers and get a good nights sleep.

I think it's cos I sometimes don't drink enough.

yes well with me I cant take certain painkillers for mine because of my medication but it does shift though which I love it and Kizz Wizz im just like you really I think its something to do with my medication too :conf2:

i get really bad headaches, i have one now actually, its due to me having Epilepsy which sucks, i havenot had a seizure in months though, it does worry me because i keep thinking when i have a headache I'm going to faint or something.

aww ruth*star your like me then my epilepsy acts the same way as yours does and like you said it does suck i hate it but i just live with it but my epilepsy isnt as often as yours is i think its because i have less stress too :laugh:

I'm a migraine suffer unfortunatly, sometimes it's so horrible. From the morning to the end, it can't stop, it's terrible.

I have stress , the dr told me that the main cause of my Epilepsy was stress, yeah the medication has lowered the seizures but i still get the headaches.

Thanks Ann, yeah I've had it since i was 10ish i think, i think having a table falling on me triggered it off.

yes that can do it but with mine i was born with it as it runs through my family but gladly mine has really calmed down so im quite lucky but i do feel for you ruth as it is awful to have but we just live with it dont we:pat:

Yeah it is, i've learnt to cope with it, i've had for for 5ish years, i don't think anyone in my family has it apart from me, i don't know about my mums side since shes adopted.

I get them around the time of my "monthlies", and they can be bad when I'm stressed or tired. I've also been known to be sick the odd time I've had a bad migraine, that can be horrible as you can imagine.

aww Nicola it seems like yours is worser than mine as im not sick when I get them but it is very painful when it comes on :sad:

I'm very rarely sick when I get them with my periods, it's just the really bad ones that affect me that way. It's not happened for a while though, usually a painkiller and a good sleep helps.

I get very bad headaches after I have a hypo. Its like a hangover... it sucks

I used to get childhood migraines which involved a debilitating headache and when I woke up I was always sick, they were awful. I haven't had one for 3 or 4 years now though.

I have to be careful and not eat too much chocolate or otherwise I get migraines. I get the blind spot, then the flashing lights and then the sickness. If I get them at work I have to come home because I can't fogus properly and I prefer to be sick at home rather than at work!

If you've never had a migraine then you're very lucky - they are really quite unpleasant!
