They're shouting "Brian! Brian!" I think...

Though at points in the pre-eviction show, they chanted for her, I think.

Doubt it. If she had gotten to the final she would have gotten like 0.4% of the vote.

so.. people can still chant her name and like her.. and not vote for her.

Yeah she was up for eviction every week whilst she was in the house, and they called her the "nastiest housemate". She didn't really contribute or make much of an impact in the house in my opinion anyway.

Personally, I think Kara-Louise was a fantastic housemate because she wasn't a stereotypical contestant. She didn't want to flash to the nation to be remembered, she didn't want to do topless photoshoots after leaving and on numerous occasions spoke about returning to her studies and basically being the girl she always has been.

I also admired the way she coped under the scrutiny of both Liam and Ziggy and I found her to be a young woman who had enough dignity, self-respect and class to stay strong in the situations she was in.

So basically I'm trying to give a different perspective of opinions on Kara.

I agree with everything you said! Especially about Liam and Ziggy, they were always scrutinizing her and bitching about her and it was sad to watch. Brian was involved too, but his scrutiny was more often directed at Jonty than Kara. But Kara's a much better person AND housemate than those three dullards were. So was Jonty.

The way she was treated at her eviction , I would not have been suprised if they had said "Sorry we do not have time to show you your best bits, they will be on the website in due course" It was really Tracy eviction night with Kara as a footnote.

Dead on. I'm glad she's the only BB Girl (that'd get the offers) that wouldn't do it.

I quite liked Kara-Louise. I don't know what all the fuss was about, saying she was a bad housemate. I have certainly seen worse behavior: Charley, Shabnam, Jade, Shahbaz - Kara-Louise was a much better housemate by far.

Totally on your wave-length there, Wasted.

The way all the Halfway housemates were treated was truely appalling, in my eyes, and not one of them was given a chance to show the viewers (or the housemates) what they were made of because nobody seemed to care about them - they were just thrown in to make up the numbers and to avoid any evictions of the big characters (although both Gerry and Tracey went along the way). Kara technically survived the most evictions (Shanessa, David, Amy, Gerry and Tracey all went before her) and almost made it to the final by 0.1% of the vote.

Personally, I found Kara-Louise was a fantastic housemate and don't think she was fairly treated by anybody in the house (other than Jonty and possibly Carole). She deserved a lot, lot more airtime, too - she was so badly edited on some shows that I was so close to sending a few emails to different companies (C4, Endemol, Ofcom) to express how badly treated she had been by the producers/editors - anyone who watched it live would see that she was a very lively housemate 90% of the time.

I decided against making complaints, though, as they wouldn't lead to anything.

Exactly.

I understand why Tracey should have a decent interview - she was in the house for 86/87 days - but Kara wasn't asked about anything other than plucking her armpit hairs. It was truely ridiculous and if they wanted to give Tracey such an amazing interview, they should have extended the eviction show by another 10-15 minutes so that Kara could have her say on how she felt.

Davina also got on my nerves and I've lost even more respect for her this year - it all started back in BB4 when she interviewed Tania.

I think that's something to be admired, to be honest - she has enough respect for herself and for her family to turn things down that most other wannabes would jump at the chance for. It wouldn't surprise me if appearing in an issue of Nuts was in all female contestants' contracts next year.

I've lost respect for Davina too. Ever since BB6. And when BB7 was on, I thought "I'll forget how awful she was that year and give her a chance, she could be on form this year" but she was awful on BB7 as well. She was slightly more bearable on BB8 but still pretty bad.

What was Davina like when interviewing Tania? I did see that series but I forget a lot of things about it.

She was just really 'off' with her about things and when Tania hadn't told the producers that she had a boyfriend, Davina acted as if she'd commited murder. She was like "You can't lie your way through Big Brother, Tania - it's very devious."

Devious because she kept her boyfriend a secret?
