As far as his childhood went, Harman went through it quite quickly in an interview once. I can't be certain, but he said basically Dennis lived with his mother until he was 5 or 6, then he was in and out of care. When he was 16 he then met Dalton or someone who worked for Dalton - Andy? - and that was the start of his adult life I guess

Then there was the physical abuse he suffered at the hands of his mothers boyfriends. Also the depressing fact that he'd never been on holiday before.

Its such a tragic life story to think that the only time he was truly happy was in the last year of his life and even then he had to cope with the death of his best friend and father.
