a friend of a friend of mine has just been approached by Endemol to work on the January BB, so it's safe to assume its going ahead.

i think the "new house" that they are building could be used in the january BB,.

if you look through the BB9 section theres a thread about it and theres pics on page 2!

I think you're probably right, but no need to act all high and mighty!

For a start, the contract was DEFINITELY renewed until April 2008, which would give room for Celebrity Big Brother (as it was going ahead when the contract was renewed). So BBX will be at Elstree.

Then it was announced that the owners of Elstree Studios was the show to stay there, and so do Endemol.

Rumours started coming through about the contract being renewed for another three years, and after reading through some of VoG's other posts, it looks like this rumour is correct.

VOG can you give us any info, just the slightest on what they are planning to experiment with on BBX? Do you know if it's a format experiment or a housemate experiment? Or both.

I'm almost certain that I heard Endemol wanted to renew the Endemol contract. I also heard that Endemols old owner has rebought Endemol UK, and would like the house to stay in Elstree.

No. The co-founder of Endemol has returned to the company has a shareholder.

The ex-chairman of Endemol UK, Peter Bazalgette, has stepped down from his job.

The January show WILL be at Elstree. I've had that confirmed to me a few days ago, but i'm so busy recently i've not been on to tell you guys!
