It has been confirmed that Kris Noble has resigned from his position of Managing Director of Endemol Southern Star, ending his four year reign as executive producer of Big Brother.
Noble though will remain with Endemol as a consultant to the drama development and production unit.
Kris Noble’s replacement as Managing Director is Rory Callaghan, with him taking overall responsibility for all of ESS output, but retaining his production role in the companies drama and factual department - and therefore possibly having less involvement with Big Brother than his predecessor.
It is still unclear whether Tim Toni, Noble’s partner in the crime that was BB7, will remain in the role next year.
By sheer coincidence I’m sure, Kris Noble’s counterpart in the UK has also announced his resignation today. Peter Bazalgette has resigned from his position as chairman of Endemol UK and chief creative officer at Endemol International after ten years with the company, during which time he is best known for bringing Big Brother to the UK - and regularly defending the concept.
It's about time :cheer2:
