The A-Team is a 2008 American film adaptation of the 1980s TV series of The A-Team written and produced by Stephen J. Cannell, the TV series executive producer and co-written by Bruce Feirstein, whose previous works include the scripts of the James Bond movies GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World Is Not Enough.
It should be noted that this movie has had a very on-off status, dating back to the mid-1990s. However, the film is still planned for production by 20th Century Fox and could be rushed to completion due to the impending 2008 strike of the Hollywood Writers Guild, Directors Guild and Screen Actors Guild. Two of the three surviving cast members of the original television series (Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz) will not be in the movie. And nothing has been cleared up about Mr. T being in the movie yet.
