FOXY Emmerdale babe Roxanne Pallett has DUMPED her teenage toyboy lover—ex Corrie heart-throb Richard Fleeshman.
Stunning Roxy, 24, gave the elbow to the 18-year-old star—who played Weatherfield Goth Craig Harris—because he was spending too much time on his pop career and not enough with her.
A friend of Roxanne said: "She is completely devastated by the split with Richard.
"With him being absorbed in his music career in London, she felt she had no option but to end things.
"She is heartbroken but trying to be strong. Her friends and family are all rallying round her."
The pair met on TV's Soapstar Superstar when he was just 16 and, despite the age difference, she dumped policeman lover James Yallop to be with Richard.
Begged
Richard won the show and later quit his role on Corrie, where he played Rosie Webster's boyfriend, to concentrate on his singing career.
He has been working in London on a new solo album— while Roxanne has been in Leeds filming her role as veterinary nurse Jo Stiles in Emmerdale.
A pal said: "They've had furious rows about Richard never being around and it has destroyed their relationship.
"When Richard refused to come up north at weekends to be with her she couldn't see the point in them staying together any more.
"He begged Roxanne for a chance to make things right but she's stuck to her guns and he's inconsolable."
Now teenager Richard is struggling to come to terms with the split.
The pal added: "Richard didn't see it coming that Roxanne was going to dump him.
"To say he's gutted is an understatement. He's begged her to take him back but Roxanne has decided enough is enough.
"They still have strong feelings for each other but they don't think they have a future together."
An Emmerdale spokesman said last night: "We can confirm Roxanne is no longer dating Richard due to manic work schedules and the long distance involved."
