I can see where your going, but in my opinion its far to simple and similar to the BB8 eye.

Its simple and very similar to the BB8 eye, but it may be a bit too simple..

The eye looks good with a star in the middle, but to be honest hideous with a massive 'H' in the middle.

If you made the eye into a star shape it may look a bit better?
