I got the Tesco job afterall :)
I'm happy, I have my induction next week!
I will work 4 days a week, 5-8 hour shifts (Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat)

Come on man! If flavaflav is having a bad time at school you aren't excactly making his life much easier! You might end up getting banned if you carry on like this.

You should lighten up a bit.
Sarcasm doesn't come with a government health warning you know.
And, getting banned from internet sites is hardly the end of the world is it. I doubt I'll lose sleep over something like that.

We can't all be expected to keep our opinions to ourselves and make sure all of our posts in a variety of topics don't offend flavaflav.
His post was easily addressing the people who complain about homework and such.
Plus, flavaflav's problem is apparently with people "dissing" muslims as he puts it, something that doesn't affect the majority of school children. So we shouldn't be expected to dodge around the subject of school life in general just because one muslim boy is having problems there.
You can't be banned for practically saying work is more difficult than school, that's just ridiculous. If we all have to stop talking about school due to flavaflav, then perhaps people will end up leaving this forum of their own free will, nevermind being banned.

Im looking myself at the minute, so im hoping to hear the same news soon enough.
Bumping this... nearly 2 years on and I'm still here lol and on management training and passed a team leader interview, plus new hours. Full time now.

How long after you sent the application did you recieve the letter?
I sent mine off 3 weeks ago for Tesco and i got a letter saying that they will get back to me :bawling:
Um gave it in, they got back to me within 2 days.

Wow... 3 years and 7 months on and I'm still there but now I'm a full time Checkout Team Leader and no more nice little 5pm-8pm shifts!! Long 12 hour shifts now! I can't believe it's been so long. :joker:
