And I have mentioned it a number of times on TiBB already.

Back in 2001, in the aftermath of BB2 and the Helen and Paul stuff that was going on in the media, I used to post on the Channel 4 Reacch forum, before they made you have to register. I was also on ICQ at the time, and for reasons lost in history I was trapped into giving a commitment to apply for Big Brother 3.

When it came time for people to submit their applications, I was held to the commitment to apply, and against my better inclinations, I did as I was told and put in an application.

In those days, they did not have open auditions and you had to submit a short video of yourself. Kate Lawler had a boyfriend who did it professionally which was why her audition tape was high quality. However, for me all I had was a camcorder and I had to edit in camera and transfer to VHS and send off.

I was lucky in that, that was the last I ever heard of it.

Then in 2002, my brother inlaw managed to convert the tape I had made, to an electronic file, which I later turned into a wmv file, which is why it was available to put on youTube.

So yes I did apply

I am glad I did not get selected, and no I am not giving any commitment to apply, as I am more use on the outside world thankyou very much

Mind you last year I was eating kitkats for ther golden ticket, but thats another story...
