I hope he does. Whats the point on that BBBM without Russell Brand. That was the thing that made it good. Without him its just plainly rubbish!

They should just cancel BBBM.

Russell has moved on to bigger and better things (A chance to make even more money). Personally I at least think the producers should offer him the BBBM job again and see what he says, it will obviously mean paying big money but the show would certainly get the viewers back.

Im not 100% sure if channel 4 is wanting a sex addicted drug user representing their most popular and financially benefitting television programme anymore...

Plus there's an opinion from quite a lot of people that they're quite bored of him presenting for Big Brother. Hence a channel 4 advert where celebrities said a couple of lines each, then Russell proceeded to talk about a monkey or something along those lines...but later on they edited his part and made a meteor crash into him, to represent how people didn't want to listen to him anymore.

Don't get me wrong, im a fan of his work at least. He's a good comedian, im just doubting he'll ever come back that's all.

Drug user? What are you talking about. He's been clean for about 4 years now, he's on to bigger and better things anyway so will never come back. And by the way Channel 4/Big Brother didn't fire Russell, he quit because of his stand-up, filming and radio commitments. I doubt BB wanted him gone, BBBM was far more successful when Russell presented it.

He's in a new movie out next year called Forgetting Sarah Marshall (a Judd Apatow production!!!...who recently had hit successes with Superbad and Knocked Up, so FGS should be great). He's also in the new St. Trinians film along with Stephen Fry etc. His new show Ponderland starts at the end of this month, his book and new DVD is out in November and he's about to start a new stand-up tour. Not to mention his great Radio 2 show on every Saturday night.

Lol@that...
It doesn't matter if he's clean or not, he's still associated himself with drugs recently and confessed to taking them. Plus there will always be sceptics who think he isn't clean. Whilst he also makes jokes about him and the audience going back stage so they can all take crack etc. And I wasn't aware anyone in the topic suggested Big Brother had fired him? so I'll choose to ignore that little part of your rant.

But yea, he's a busy man. It'd take a lot of money to distract him from all that...not that work commitments can just be cancelled anyway.

Someone on another forum has it on good authority that BBBM isn't returning for BB9+
