Britain's Got Talent star Connie Talbot has signed a six-figure recording deal.

The six-year-old, who wowed viewers of the ITV1 talent show in the summer, has been snapped up by the Rainbow Recording Company. Her first album will be released on November 26.

"We are so proud of her - we knew she could do it," Connie's mother Sharon told The People. "Connie's over the moon and can't wait till the album comes out."

She added: "Connie loves singing so for her it's a dream come true. It's her hobby and she loves it."

Talent judge Simon Cowell originally promised to sign Connie to his Sony BMG label, but he later changed his mind, deciding that she was too young for a recording career.

Asked to comment on the Rainbow deal, Cowell said: "I am absolutely delighted for her and wish her all the luck in the world."

Wtf shes SIX, If they let her grow up, have a childhood, her voice could mature and she'd have a better voice.
