I had a fight at work front of the customers with this guy

Basically I work in this resturant, me and him always had this ongoing feud as well as we used to love joking and winding up each other. He always intentionally winds me up an makes me lose my concentration at work. Yestoday after surving the customers I was just walking to the till, and he sticked his foot out to trip me over, which he nearly did trip me over. I lashed on to him shouting why had tried to trip me over, and threatened him if he tries that again it would become serious. He then lashed on to me and provoking the matter to go far and then just striked at me with his fist although he missed me, and I striked my fist on stomach. The fight was then stopped by the manager, after that he was gone, I'm not sure if he is sacked or suspended but, many of my colleauge has said he is a danger person outside of work and has many links with people, I've said he wants to get me down he has to do it himself not scared of anybody.

We just didn't, his joke used to get way beyond as I'm the only youngest person working there, I had another fight couple of months ago, and he threatened me that he would run over me with his car after work. He always winds me up, even though I hadn't have a girlfriend for a while, he picks on me by saying awful things.

Sounds like a nasty peice of work. Some people get their kicks through making other people upset and miserable. It sounds like he is all talk to me. If he was into all these dodgy things why would he publicise it so much?

He only told this one person, and this other person is also good friends with me, and apparently has shown a brief case of £30grand in his car to him, this person told me and warned not disclose this to anyone as one phone call would do me.

Now you see the fight at work I could accept as possibly being true but the fact that this geezer is this big dangerous guy I struggle with. If he were all that he wouldnt be working in a restaurant I can assure you of that!
