I'm gonna say two. I'd like to see a two person final with the final night being a big event.

I voted for 4.
By the way, there were 7 people but only 6 "housemates" in BB8. :)

Defo 4. because they don't get long interviews if there's loads of them.
Like this year, they interviews went so quick.
4 people maximum.
BTW, can I just point out, there was not 7 housemates in the BB8 final. There was seven people, but only 6 housemates.
Edit to add: Sorry Shaun, didn't notice you had already pointed it out...

Still doesn't mean there was 7 housemates in the final. For the purposes of the poll you should have classed the twins as one, just like everyone else - and Big Brother - does.

i dont think i can change the poll now
anyway it wont give and unfair advantage to an 7 person final

No No No, we aren't in Australia Aaron ! I like the aussie version....only in Australia !
Well, I much prefer 4 housemates, it's better and the interviews are longer.

I'll say three.
It gives alot of time for interviews and possible added extras like interviewing the housemates' families.

4 like it used to be, the interviews and exits were not so rushed as for having 6 is way too much.

4 as it used to be, much more time to get the interviews into the schedule. They've done 6 finalists for the past two years and it was a mess.
Even if they had 6 in the final week but got rid of a couple before the final night,it would be ok.

I think there should be 5 in the last week, but 1 persoin gets evicted the day before the finale, leaving 4 people on the last night.

Not every series, then the housemates would come to expect it...

I was split between three and four, but decided that a final four would make a much more entertaining last week looking at how BB8 panned out towards the end.
However, we did actually have two great final weeks from BB1 and BB2 and both series only had three finalists (which worked well with the bronze, silver and gold achievements)...
I thought the BB3, BB5 and BB6 finales were some of the best because of the quality of housemates we had in the last seven days of each series - I give special mentions to both Kinga and Nadia here who made the last days of BB5 and BB6 a pleasure to watch.
The finalists in CBB4, BB7, CBB5 and BB8 mustn't have really felt like they'd made much of an achievement unless they were in the top three/four - fifth and sixth places don't exactly get the highest percentages...
Overall, I think final fours work better than any other.
