Sharon QuitsRAGING Sharon Osbourne last night QUIT The X Factor during the live show, screeching: "I'm out—gone!"

Her outburst came after two of her three acts were voted into the bottom two places in last night's first live show.

She refused to take part in the vote to decide whether it would be Kimberley Southwick or Alisha Bennett who got the boot.

It was left to Louis Walsh to choose Kimberley to go. Earlier, after Alisha's flop performance Sharon had pleaded: "Get rid of me, not her."

Show bosses are now in crisis talks after she told host Dermot O'Leary: "What I did was no good—and I think I'm going home now, Dermot." She stormed out and refused to appear later on ITV2's Xtra Factor with Fearne Cotton.

We can reveal that Radio 1 star Chris Moyles is being lined up as a replacement if Sharon sticks to her guns.

An X Factor source last night revealed: "At this point in time Sharon has said she is no longer a judge on The X Factor. We are hoping she will be able to sleep on her decision and calm down.

"The public rejected two of her acts and she took it as a hammer blow. She also blames herself for picking both girls the wrong songs."

The insider added: "Chris Moyles has made it clear he's on standby if Sharon or Louis Walsh walk out at short notice. Simon Cowell is likely to take him up on that offer."

More than 500 X Factor fans missed seeing Sharon's dramatic walk-out after too many tickets were issued for the first live show.

Bosses gave out extra tickets fearing no-shows because of the Rugby World Cup final would leave empty seats. Hundreds who didn’t get there early were told: “There’s no room.”

Loser Kimberley, who performed It’s Raining Men, will return to work in her parent’s pub, The Fox in Tamworth.

The 19-year-old recently quit a call centre job because she found it boring.

I hope Sharon comes back too.... I like her and find her funny.

It must have come as a shock to have 2 out of 3 of your acts in the bottom 2. But as well as that, there seems to be quite a lot of rivalry between the judges so she was also bound to have received some ribbing about it

She needs to get over it. She knew from past years that she may have to choose between two of her own acts...if she couldn't take the pressure she should have not taken the job on the judging panel!

I can't work out whether I love or loathe Mrs. O.
One thing is for sure: TXF wouldn't be the same without her. She has star quality even if I think she's a bit false.

Breakfast presenter on Radio 1 from Monday to Friday. After seeing Sharon's strop last night I hope that Chris Moyles does take over her. Her category would have a much better chance of winning.

How pathetic. Throwing the cradle out of the pram because things didn't go her own way. I felt bad for Kimberley and Alisha, but on the other hand it's a good and well-deserved slap in the face for Sharon - she was awful to Rhydian, but he out-performed her own acts and got more votes. Maybe she'll concentrate on her own acts and help them do the best they can now instead of trying to ridicule someone else who doesn't deserve it.

She will be back but maybe she'll stay off the show for just one week and have a substitute judge in her place, it's the kind of stunt I can see them trying to pull off.

from now magazine

Fiery redhead is reported to have had bust-up with fellow judge Dannii Minogue

Sharon Osbourne quit The X Factor on Saturday night after 2 of her 3 acts had to sing for survival.

'That's it,' the 55-year-old said as she refused to choose who to axe between contestants Kimberley Southwick, 19, and Alisha Bennett.

'I'm not doing this any more. I'm out. I'm gone.'

Sharon also failed to turn up to ITV2's Xtra Factor and fled the studio as barmaid Kim was shown the door by Simon Cowell, 48, and Louis Walsh, 55.

But now it's claimed that Sharon's outburst was fuelled by a backstage bust-up with fellow judge Dannii Minogue, 37, just an hour before the live show aired.

The Aussie singer is said to have been left in tears after the row.

'Sharon was in her dressing gown and stormed into Dannii's dressing room, accusing her of saying things about her,' a source tells the Daily Mirror. 'Dannii denied it and the row just escalated. Dannii was in tears.'

An X Factor spokeswoman has refuted the suggestion that Dannii and Sharon exchanged words, saying: 'We're unaware of any arguments backstage.'

Sharon is expected to return to the show after holding crisis talks with producers.

They'lll throw as much money as possible at her to ensure she stays...
What else can they do? Just shove in a replacement judge to takeover the role of looking after two people they barely know?

Plus that person would have no relationship with them, or know their vocal range as well, or their talents shown in previous performances. And Brian can't do it as he's far too busy now, more than ever.

Although I don't want Sharon to be sat on the panel if she's in a mood, or feeling bad about being there...as it just won't feel right. She either cheers up and gets over herself, or disappears for good.

She's an incredibly sore loser and just can't stand the fact it's looking as though she won't win again. Emily is it? the kid on her team, is the only person she has that's remotely capable of winning, yet she looked ridiculous and sang out of tune too much. So I admit, Sharon might as well give up right now, and I understand how bad it must feel...but it's selfish when two people's dreams are at stake.

Sharn should come back with a vengeance. I mean she RUINED Kimberleys chances, but its not too late for Emily. Give her a ballad this week at least, and dont dress her in fancy dress

Ugh i'm sick of these stories of feuds, there is no feuds! Sharon's abviously gonna be back i don't think she could leave her acts hanging, i think she just suffered a bit of a tantrum.

Billy
22-10-2007, 12:36 PM
Well Dezzy she did leave her acts for over a month

Retroman
22-10-2007, 12:39 PM
I hope there aren't any feuds, as it can create an atmosphere and decrease from the viewers enjoyment of watching the show...
Even if they appear to be getting on, just knowing they aren't makes bad viewing.

Plus we know they're capable of falling out, as Sharon has had her differences with Simon and sometimes Simon and Louis in the past.

Im not saying it's true, just that it's possible, and if it is true they should make up genuinely and get on with the show.

More histrionics from Mrs Osbourne. I note she stayed long anough to anounce she was quitting. If she wanted to go so much why didn't she just leave as it was announced that her acts were in the bottom two.

She'll be back. Her bank balance would never allow her to leave.
