View Full Version : SPOILER X Factor Song Choices Revealed

Hugo

It’s only Thursday morning, but we’re already thinking about the weekend – and specifically The X Factor. How will the remaining contestants get on this week, what will they be wearing, and, most importantly of all, what will they be singing? Well, we couldn’t stand to wait any longer, so we’ve managed to find out what The X Factor guys and gals will be belting out this weekend. And it's certainly an interesting list. So what do you think of the song choices? Who’s gonna rock the house and who’s going to be sent packing? We’ll have to wait to tune into ITV1 at 5.45pm this Saturday to find out, but isn’t speculating fun?

Alisha Say A Little Prayer
Emily Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman
Andy Staying Alive
Leon Home
Rhyd Phantom Of The Opera
Dan Build Me Up Buttercup
Bev I Have Nothing
Niki My Heart Will Go On
Same Difference Breaking Free
Futureproof If You Don't Know Me By Now
Hope Lady Marmalade

What a suprise with Rydian.........

I'd put that as a spoiler, JUST in case someone doesn't want to know.

I should've seen that coming from a mile off though. People have already said Same Difference are quite a bit like Ryan & Sharpay from HSM. They've picked a good song though in the sense that it should sound decent, and a lot of youngsters and others who are fans of HSM will probably vote for them if they pull it off.

As for the others, some are quite predictable but then hopefully they'll do well.

Nice choice of songs, sadly I won't be able to watch the show as I'll still be in Greece but I can always catch up when I get home.

Oh dear, Sharon's done it again. She's given Alisha and Emily mediocre songs. I won't be surprised if they're in the bottom two again.

These songs are too predictable, almost all the songs on that list were predicted by people on here.

Hmm...

Emily has a tough song, not sure her voice is strong enough.
Same Difference are sure to pull this one off, and i can't wait.
Leon has one of my fave songs, I hope he can do it justice.
Rhydian, emmmm, right.
Bev, too predictable. It be long til Louise has her singing "Last Dance" and compares her to Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross.
Niki has a very tough song, the toughest of the bunch I think.
Hope - Very predictable, and yet another song that gives them an excuse to dress as slappers.

Alisha Say A Little Prayer - A much better choice than Dreams, let's she how she does.

Emily Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman - I'm not sure. Sometimes Emily is good and sometimes she's just totally flat, it's not song choice that gets her down it's just her actual performance, so it's hard to tell how she'll do.

Andy Staying Alive - Oh dear...

Leon Home - All his auditions have been average and boring and last week was atrocious. I wouldn't even expect him to do well at this stage with the easiest of songs.

Rhyd Phantom Of The Opera - I think he'll do well and could potentially be the best of the night two weeks in a row.

Dan Build Me Up Buttercup - I can't remember this song. But he's been average so far so I assume he'll be like that on Saturday again.

Bev I Have Nothing - Hopefully she won't be too shouty with this, that's the only problem I have with her, sometimes she shouts. If she doesn't I'm sure she will do great.

Niki My Heart Will Go On - Hard song, but I think she'll do great.

Same Difference Breaking Free - I said before they would lose any of my support for them if they did a HSM song sooo...

Futureproof If You Don't Know Me By Now - They'll probably do well with this vocally, but I find the song itself boring.

Hope Lady Marmalade - Could be a disaster. I can imagine Brian Friedman will go OTT with the choreography on this one, which will spoil the whole thing.

Sharon seems to have got her act together this week and actually put some thought into her acts song choice.

A few people say Niki has a hard song to sing. She had a hard song to sing last week too. She’ll be fine.

I agree with Arneldo about Hope. They’ll be up their trying to look like the Pussycat dolls. So predictable.

Sorry, but my friend is in Hope. I can't help myself being angry if someone's going to call her a slapper.

IMO They looked awful. They were singing a slow song and yet they were dressed as ladies of the night. It's not their fault, its the wardrobe people.

This week though Niki was to have more "oomph" if you know what I mean. Hopefully she has it in her.

Yes, she is definitely one of, if not the best, singer in the competition so far. I'm sure she will do it well but I think it will be hard to top her faultless performance last week.

Rhydian will steal the show again most likely. I can't believe that some of you are buying in to this "he's the bad guy" gimmick that the producers have decided to give him. It was easy in the edited shows to make him look like a bit of an arsehole but you could tell on the live show last week that he was a decent bloke, he took the judges advice well even though Sharon was trying to belittle him, making him show his chest and stuff trying to take the focus off his singing, but he handled it well.

16-24 Females

Alisha has a pretty dull song again. There are moments which she could show how strong her voice is, but I think she'll be bottom two again (unless she does something to make the song more powerful).

Emily has a pretty dull song, too. After her performance last week and the way she hasn't been up-to-scratch with her first audition, I wouldn't be surprised if this boring song landed her in the bottom two with Alisha.

16-24 Males

Andy's choice of song will be interesting to watch because I haven't got high hopes for him pulling it off. He has a pleasant voice, but I'm not convinced that he's able enough as a vocalist to perform the song the way it should be performed.

Leon is a good jazz/swing singer and I'm not too sure what this song is. If it's Michael Buble, I think he'll do well. If it's Chris Daughtry, I imagine he could be in trouble again.

Rhydian has a fantastic opera voice and the song is simply perfect for him. If he performs like he did on Saturday, he'll sail into the next round.

25 And Overs

Beverley's song choice suits her down to the ground because of the powerful and strong voice she has. She's sure to be one of the stars on the night.

Daniel has a very bizarre choice of song this week and until I've seen it, I'm very sceptical on how well he'll do. Could be great, could be terrible.

Niki is a difficult one for me. She's done fantastically in all over performances other than 'Natural Woman' - a very big song to attempt. I hope she pulls it off and think she'll do Celine some serious justice.

Groups

Futureproof are once again playing it safe and are sure to be in next week's show with another boring ballad. I believe they'll perform well, but I can't help but think they're playing it a little too safe.

Hope could be either fantastic or terrible - I'm fearing the worst, to be honest. Leona sang the song averagely last year and she has one of the most powerful voices in today's music business. Leah and Pheobe are great, but I'm not too sure if the other girls have the strength because I've only really heard them sing in harmony (other than Racquelle, who isn't exactly show-stopping).

Same Difference are bound to do well this week because when they sing slower songs, they're actually very impressive. I hope they do well and have high hopes for their performance - the HSM theme suits them so well.

I agree. And of all the posts I've read about Rhydian being a jerk, no-one has actually said WHY they think this. And when they do say why they think he's bad, it's very vague, like "He's so smug/cocky/whatever" and they don't actually have anything to back this up. He seems really nice to me. He didn't even talk back to Sharon when she was trying to embarass him and have a personal dig.

Sarah.

I don't like Rydian because he is such a big head, he iswith out a dobut the best male singer on X Factor, but I hate his personlaity and how big headed he is. Thing is none out there would want to work with him because of the way he is, and the GP will not vote for him to win because of how he is and how he puts himself across.

But where has he been a bad person? He's slightly arrogant yeah, so are most musicians, he's definitely got talent so I don't see a problem with his confidence, that's not a reason to hate him. Can you really say last week that he came across worse than any of the others? He took all the judges advice, didn't let Sharon embarrass him and just seemed like a genuinely nice chap.

He does however look like a villain out of a TV show I agree, he reminds me of the character Sark from Alias.
