To be fair, Matthew is right. I could say something I don't like about one of the members listed above and that could turn into an argument, it's a pretty unneccesary argument to have.

I think the topic would have worked better if it was left open to people to decide who they wish to express an opinion on...

Instead of you listing a few people you consider well known, and making the rest of us feel we're not worthy/lower down the chain of importance, which is just plain ridiculous.

That way people would note who they like, and perhaps note who they don't like, whilst also telling us why, and the topic would have been more constructive.

Also I second what Matt said, and also think it's often people who try to get on their high horse and educate us all on how "this will cause an argument" whilst passing themselves off as all knowledgable, that ends up causing arguments in the first place.

You're trying to come across as "I know how forums work, this will turn out bad, please close the thread, im just thinking of the site" whilst ironically being the argument starter. Thus showing you don't know as much as you make out.
