Bianca is to return to EastEnders!!

PATSY Palmer is returning to EastEnders as gobby Bianca Jackson – eight years after she left.

The redhead, famed for shouting “Rick-ay” at her hubby, is at “rock bottom” when she moves back to Walford.

Bianca is now a single mum with a gaggle of children by different men – just like her mum Carol.

Her only relative in the Square is grandmother Pat.

Sid Owen, who played Ricky, is not returning in the near future.

Patsy, 35, said last night: “I’m really excited about rejoining the cast and working with old friends again. I can’t wait to explore what Bianca has been doing with her life and seeing what she is going to get up to next.”

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: “I’m delighted to welcome Patsy Palmer home to EastEnders. Bianca is one of the most popular characters the show has ever had. Millions grew up with her.”

Patsy will start filming in January and will be on screen in spring 2008.

Former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer is returning to the BBC soap after eight years.

The 35-year-old – who played Bianca Jackson between 1993 and 2002 – is to walk back into Walford as a single mother with a hoard of children in tow, each with a different father.

Speaking of her return, the actress said: "I'm really excited about rejoining the cast and working with old friends again. I can't wait to explore what Bianca has been doing with her life and seeing what she is going to get up to next."

Patsy begins filming at Borehamwood's Elstree Studios - home of Albert Square - in January and is due to make her screen re-appearance in the spring.

A spokeswoman for the Walford soap has denied any plans for Sid Owen - Patsy's former on-screen husband, Ricky Butcher - to return.

Apparently nobody in the UK can count anymore because last time i checked, 2002 to 2008 is only 6 years and not 8.

So she's coming back and integrating a new family into the show, with all her kids and what not...

I suppose there's a possibility one of the dads will turn up in the future.
And Ricky could still be a possibility in the far future...
Afterall, when Phil came back they soon found an excuse to keep Grant around for a while as well.

I can't see how she would fit into any storylines! Her family has moved on now! I can't see Dot and Jim putting up with her! Unless they bring Sonia or someone like that back?

I dont mean anything racist. Im saying that their may possibly be and that is a good thing as it also emphasises the fact that each of her children has a different father and shows a multi-cultural family within the show, something which none of the other soaps seem to do, but would show how santer is trying to make the show more realistic.

See its working already, Santer knows that people loved this character so bringing her back is stirring up interest and bringing back viewers, such as Lauren.

Santer is the best thing to happen to EE in years which is now starting to get back the reputation that it used to have.

Is Ulrika Johnson the real life version of Bianca? Today it has been revealed that she is pregnant with her 4th child with another father, meanin that each child has a different father.

Maybe EE writers were inspired by Ulrika's ''interesting life''. LOL
