X Factor Emily’s stab threatX FACTOR finalist Emily Nakanda threatens to cut out a boy’s EYES – in a shocking video by a knife gang.
The sweet-faced 15-year-old is seen with members of the Young Offenderz Camp, who plaster images of themselves in gangsta poses on the internet.
In one clip, the ITV1 singing star makes a sick boast to a terrified teenager that she will blind him – as a pal wields a six-inch kitchen knife.
Emily, who calls herself Lady Shiverz, LAUGHS as she tells the boy he is about to be stabbed.
She tells him: “I will cut your eyes out! Yeah! Cut you! We’re gonna cut you!”
The horrifying YouTube video is called Shiverz Tryna Shank Trubzy. In gang slang, shank means stabbing.
The clip has the tag: “Dnt get her vex wen she drunk.”
Emily is also linked to the gang Coldsoldierz – which her boyfriend “Kizzle” belongs to.
She has set up a Lady Shiverz site with photos of her sticking up her fingers to the camera, mimicking a gun with her fingers and wearing a bandana mask.
And she is pictured on the site of the Young Offenderz Camp, who terrorise Islington, North London, and threaten to “******* up” rival gangs.
Photos show members with knives and mock guns, on a backdrop of cannabis leaves.
A local resident said: “Knives are the new cool weapon and it is well known Emily associates with these people.”
On X Factor, Emily has won the hearts of judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne with her “butter wouldn’t melt” personality and smile.
She is also expected to pull viewers’ heartstrings after it was revealed she almost died from stomach infection peritonitis last year.
The rising star, who sang Britney Spears’ I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman last Saturday, was the first ever 14-year-old to audition for the show a few months ago.
Last night an X Factor spokesman said: “We take these claims very seriously and have discussed them with Emily in length.
“She strongly refutes any claim she was a member of the Young Offenderz gang.
“Emily did have problems with bullying at her old school, which she left two years ago.
“The clip on YouTube clearly shows Emily and her friends messing about, although Emily admits this is in poor taste.”

Oh my god, she isso sweet and nice as well, how shocking, well this is going to effect her chances of winning even more now. That's if this is 100% true. You do have to take everything you read with a pinch of salt.

I just watched the video, me thinks it's a big fuss over nothing. She was 14 when she did it, very immature, especailly with all this knife and gun crime, but kids that age don't think do they. It just looked like a bit of harmless fun to me.

So you and your friends film yourselves threatening people with knives? That's NOT what happens with kids, and you shouldn't make exceptions just because she's your favourite.

Im not making exceptions. And to be perfectly honest, although its not nice, it DOES happen with kids. I fail tos ee this "terrified teenager", but just a few kids messing around. Its not even worth reporting its of those things that maybe only kids find funny

Callum
30-10-2007, 05:52 PM
She's not stupid, at all. People should judge her on her singing not her bloody personal life. So what if she's a chav? It's her decision at the end of the day, and we should respect that.
Shaun
30-10-2007, 05:59 PM
If she threatens people with knives, even if it's in jest, we shouldn't "respect" her at all. That's a sick sense of humour. My cousin was stabbed to death in some silly gang-related thingymabob, and knives aren't a laughing matter.

1) I already have judged her on her singing, which let's face it is pretty dire.
2) She invited us to judge her personal life the second she started whining on with her sob story. If we're allowed to give a say on the parts of her life that make her seem amazing and inspirational, we're also allowed to give a say on the parts that show her for the thug and the liar that she evidently is.

I totally understand where your coming from Shaun, and when knives and weapons become involved it turns serious, but what I'm trying to say here is that some people are blatantly disliking her just because of her personal life, and that to me is unfair.

I agree, and I'm sorry about your cousin.
The fact that children have been stabbed across Britain lately, and the government are cracking down on street crime shouldn't mean we have to respect her because she's on TXF. Even if she thinks its a joke, it's still a serious offence.

That's ridiculous, of course we're allowed to dislike her because of her personal life. People seem to dislike Rhydian for his confidence, which is something personal that is not his singing, so are you saying that that too is unacceptable?

But the attitude is applicable to Rhydian; you're claiming that one form of this "people making opinions not based on voice" thing is unacceptable, yet apparently condoning another.
And her singing voice is awful anyway, which most people have already judged her on in such a way.
And she's not just a chav; I have friends who are chavs and nice people. She's in an actual London gang and brandishes a knife. That's a valid enough reason to dislike someone, I think.

Ditto. I feel exactly the same. Afterall, we all have to remember that it is a singing contest.
Although what she did was stupid, it was a few years ago, and we all make mistakes. It's not for us to judge her. We can only judge her singing and thats it. What she does in her personal life is no business of ours. We should respect her decision to do what she wants. We wouldn't like people telling us what to do, so we shouldn't expect Emily to.

Don't you have some self-pitying to get on with?
Anyway, I'm all for the fact that anyone who subjects themsevles to these programmes basically allows the whole public to judge them, so I think it's every right for any of us to give our opinion on it. Like I said earlier, we're allowed to judge the fact she nearly died, so we're allowed to judge anything else to do with her private live, I think.

Can't you just handle the fact he doesn't like her?

I think he can, but he just doesn't like the fact that her personal life is getting into it all.

But why shouldn't it? We're allowed to judge it, it's not like I liked her before and let this change my opinion.
She seemed like a stubborn little girl before, and this just reinforces it. I think it's ridiculous to claim that we have to completely judge everything on their voices.
