Santa's sleigh hit by bluetongue

Santa will not be visiting this year, due to Blue Tongue

Reindeer have been cancelled from a major Christmas festival because of bluetongue disease restrictions.

The animals have been banned from heading the festive parade in Beverley, near Hull, after the disease protection zone was extended to the East Riding.

Organisers said the reindeers were used to pull Santa's sleigh through the town centre and attracted lots of children.



Hey, for a change, you can use this to save money on Christmas presents this year instead of the usual crying brat next to Santa's gravestone.

Santa is real!! Apparently, when he's not being santa, he spends his time fishing, sitting on his bum moaning at the tv, reading a paper, whilst watching TV at the same time.. so when you turn over he says "I was watching that" Oh really !!! He also on the odd occasion's picks his nose and plays with it... sounds a lot like my dad really!

Tell them it was nothing they did wrong, but it was due to animal movement restrictions due to Bluetongue, which was brougt over by midges as a result of global warming and climate change.
