I dont know if his has been asked becuse am new but wasnt the bb8 eye the same as bb4 eye. It all the diffrent colures as well didnt it

Not exactly. They both used a variety of colours - that's about the extent of their similarities.

It wasn't exactly the same but the overall idea was identical.
